1. Even if it did make you a little weird, so what? It is not the place of others to criticize someone's choice of soap scents. As for the "lumberjack" scents being overpowering, that holds true for many products aimed at wetshaving forumites. Some wetshavers strongly favor very strong scents, and the vendors adjust to suit.

  2. Lilac and rosewater are two fave scents of mine, and a hundred years ago both were considered Men's fragrances.

  3. Jim, here are some manly scented candles you might enjoy having in the Jayaruh brush shop. :D

  5. My soap smells like a forest (not piney though), my shampoo smells like sea salt, and my aftershave is Old Spice so, no, nothing fruity for me. To each his own, I suppose.

  7. Not shaving-related stuff, but my landlady gives me her stuff she doesn't use...shampoo, conditioner, lotions, soaps, stuff like that. And my neighbors give me all the little bars of soap & little bottles of junk they take from motel rooms. Hey, I ain't proud if it saves me a few bucks.

  8. I love sweet fruity scents and florals in shave soaps and aftershaves. In soaps I like a more mild scent so as not to overpower my senses.

Nothing wrong with you. Not all things have to be cedar and pine cones and old Spice.

  9. Do you live in the US? If so I have some STD Shaving cream and AS Asian Plum. It has a nice Plum and Jasmin scent. I like it but the wife does not like the smell on me. It is just sitting there. Let me know if you want it. By the way the AS is very soothing love the way my face feels after applying.

  10. Scent has no gender other than that which you ascribe to it. If the scent is one you like and can wear with confidence, do that. I generally gravitate toward jasmine and white florals.
  11. I typically find that no one cares what you smell like when you're wearing high heels. But that's just me.
  12. For me personally, I think most "men's products" are too potent. Frankly I do not want to smell like The Great Outdoors. It makes sense to use what you like--besides which, no one knows which sex it was intended for unless you tell them.
