Right around 10 years is my record. The first one I had about that long was an 88 Mustang that I bought used. It did daily driver duty for a long time. I started making it into an autocrosser when I didn't need it to be the daily driver anymore but had to sell it when I found out my job was moving me and I'd have no room for it. I liked that car a lot and sometimes wish I still had it but I'm older now and more into trucks/SUVs these days. My current SUV turns 10 this year. It's a Toyota FJ - 2007 model but bought it in summer 2006 pretty soon after they were introduced. It still runs and drives great so I'm not looking to get rid of it anytime soon. But since they've discontinued the FJ, I'm amazed at what it's still worth if I ever decide to sell it. Still worth almost 2/3 of what I paid for it new.
22 years. I have a 1994 Thunderbird Super Coupe that I bought new. First new car I ever bought and still love it. Stays in the parked in the garage more these days then it does on the road though.
Had my Nissan Pathfinder 4WD for 14 years, then replaced it with an Xterra 4WD which is still going strong at year 10.
15 years. Had a 93 S-10 pickup, my first vehicle purchase. Got it new with 48 miles on it. The bed was rusting out pretty bad, and the gas tank was getting pretty thin. It wasn't leaking gas but gas would just kinda seep out, one corner was always wet. I35000 miles & it started to nickel & dime me to death.
We had our previous Kia Ceed for 6 years. That was a stretch. Looking to sell our current Passat now after 2 years in exchange for something newer and more economical.
I got my Datsun last year, but it is a 1981. I plan doing a full restoration and keeping that car for the rest of my life. I also just got my Grandfathers old Cadillac Deville (1991) passed down to me. I plan on keeping that as long as I can. I'm a gearhead with a garage
Have a 95 GMC Suburban that I bought used in 03 (13 years now of my ownership) that currently has 285,000 miles. It runs strong, but the body and interior are both getting pretty rough.
My first car and only one so far. An 18 year old Renault Megane 1996. I had it for 18 months, we got hit from behind. The other parties insurance "bought" it from us. They reimbursed us because the car was unusuable. We didn't buy another one because it's costs we don't need right now
