Beautiful dog! I once had a Blue Heeler but she kept jumping out of the window to run the neighborhood. No matter what I did that dog would figure out how to escape, she'd jump a 6 foot fence, window. I finally had to surrender her to the rescue center .
I think I may have posted this one already on another thread, but this is Phoebe, one of my Shepherds. She is four months and a couple weeks. She is from Old Breed German lines and going to be a really big girl. A week after this pic, and she has topped 65 pounds. Really really smart, and so eager to please. Great pup.
We lost our black Cocker Spaniel this past summer to liver failure and there was an empty spot in our lives since then. In January, we began searching for another rescue dog, preferably another Cocker. God must have been blessing us, because on MLK weekend, in a very fast sequence of improbable coincidences, we came home with a rescue Cocker that is such a joy. She's half the size of Jacob, my little buddy we lost and she's a bundle of energetic love! Meet Emma:
