I received four packages today. The first one had my @Jayaruh #44 brush in it. I'm excited to finally have one of these works of art. Love the shape and size of the handle and can't wait to try it out in the morning.



I also received a Kikobushi strop to go along with my Kikobushi razor. They gotta match

I watch for lots that have unusual razors in them. I picked up this lot for a reasonable price because of the two Razak razors in it they are a silver plated razor from 1905-1906 that use a push button to load a double edge blade. They will only work with the old stiffer blades as modern blades flex in them. It looks like I'm going to have to find some vintage blades to shave with.



I love the way silver cleans up.

Wow those are interesting !!! Never seen something like that before!! Maybe the older Gillette 3 hole blades will work. I see plenty of those online.

That's what I'm going to try. I'll post an update when I shave with one.

I have not been on here in quite awhile. I recently got a Van der Hagan kit with the black mug, boar brush and the white soap. I also got a bottle of Nivia Sensitive Cooling shave balm. I have some things coming in so I'll be back soon.

I would like to hear your thoughts on those razors after you try them out.

What type of blade does this razor take? Is it a injector? Very nice haul!

Yes it is I didn't enjoy mine as much as my others so I traded it to @Jayaruh a few months ago. I still have a B type schick and a G type that I really like.

It uses injector blades but is not an "injector " razor . It is a repeating or magazine razor. Blades are loaded into the handle and by using the plunger mechanism into the head . It is a cool design and actually works but I load the blade by hand. Thanks!

Got a set of three strop pastes and Naniwia supecalty stones in 3 and 5k that have been glued together.
My wife also got me a cologne for my birthday. Hugo Boss The Scent. It complements a lot of my aftershaves.

Not new items, but newly returned to me. Thank you @gssixgun for getting these guys all checked out and ready for a shave.

Now I'm just waiting on a strop to be delivered on Monday so I can attempt my very first SR shave....off to YouTube to brush up on some do's and don'ts.
