Is there a website for The Clean Shave? I'd like to check them out.

PILS, for some reason tonight it shaved like a dream. Usually I get a decent shave but often feel like I need more passes and touchups. Tonight I went with three easy passes and am rewarded with a very nice result. Hmmm.
ROD NEEP Dreadnought in faux jade. Rod is right when he says this knot holds a lot of water. My third pass was a little runny, even though the lather was fine. Next time I'll give it one more shake.
I COLONIALI, what a great soap. I love the scent and the performance.
CRSW Fall as balm also smells great and leaves my skin feeling nourished and smooth.

youngunn Where's my TSD aftershave balm???

    Super Speed Flare Tip
    GSB (2)
    RS 400-4
    RR Mudder Focker
    Stetson

First time with the RR MF, lather didn't blow me away, but post shave feel was amazing. While applying my Stetson I had a near BBS perfect feel. The GSB and SS FT were a first time combo for me and wow they worked great. I've also gotten used to synthetic brushes now, and how absolutely soft they are. Used my 2 band tonight and it felt like crap in comparison lol..... Maybe I'll switch over to all synth. And just have a couple high end badgers.

    Nighty night

I'm loving that plissoft brush too. I switched back to my 2 band badger tonight and it felt a lot different than I remember, because I've been spoiled by the pillowy soft bristles and when they're full of lather, forget about it... It's like a feather mattress stuffed with goose down. Sooooo soft.

Good Friday morning guys. This morning i went back to my roots with VDH Luxury soap which was my first hard soap. I would like to say that i think this soap gets a bad rap...maybe it's because it's inexpensive, maybe it's because it's not an artisan soap.. Who knows. Truthfully it smells beautiful and cologny, it's plenty slick and cushiony for my taste. I want to make a small observation about my new Semogue brush and that is after two days of use I have found the need to reload it between passes. Some might call this a gripe...I'm gonna say that while loading my brush, the aromas of soaps and croaps are released and just adds to my enjoyment... So I guess that worked itself out. Fantastic brush for face lathering and that's what I'm after. Wonderful three pass shave this morning with stellar results and the GSB's work like a dream for me in the R41. Have a great shave and a great day friends.:)

    Fantastic Shave
Everything worked great today. Thick lather from Poseidon set up my stubble for der Futur so well that I could barely feel their demise. Three easy drama free passes followed by For Flint aftershave left me with a smooth BBS. The scents work well together for me. I like the ylang-ylang notes of the soap, which meld well with the citrus notes from the aftershave.

A marvellous, smooth, and comfortable shave - this time again with my Junjie razor. I transplanted the Astra blade back into it and it worked great. The Plissoft brush whipped the Sottozero soap into awesome, chilly lather which softened up my rough stubble very well. The Shambala aftershave went on cold and its wonderful scent really captivates me! :happy088: :happy088:
