Hoo-boy!…..I haven't shaved since early Monday.
Spent the past 3.5 days in 85° Newport Beach and the 'happiest place on earth' with some fine co-workers (church staff retreat).


I have three razors I'll be honing tomorrow to put to the test Saturday night.
Hope I remember how to use them!

First time I'm using Personna DE blades I have used the SE blades before, and I must say these are every bit as good, very smooth.
My shave this morning was drama free and extremely comfortable. My face is so smooth it makes a baby's butt feel like a cobble stone road!

Good morning guys. I would like to start off by offering a sincere apology to all our Arko fans for all the Arko trash talk I've done in the past. Arko was one of my first creams and although it lathered well I found it dry and not slick enough for me. Well after sitting in my den for ages I tried a practice lather yesterday evening and it was beautiful! Cushiony, slick, creamy...smelled nice. Turns out Arko didn't suck...I did! So I hope you Arko guys will have me cause I used it as a stand alone this morning with brilliant results. This tells me two things. One: I need to reserve judgment until I give something a fair shot and two: my lathering skills have vastly improved. The R41 is such a delight to shave with..very efficient and smooth. Beautiful shave this morning and such a lovley finish with Stirling's Mita balm. Have a great shave and a great day guys.

What a way to start out my Saturday morning with a near BBS shave from my 102 slant. Oh how i love the TSD wheat cream and aftershave splash .. the Urban Cowboy scent is very nice!

Late morning shave and it was fantastic. I experimented (gasp) with my soap. I did not add any water to the container while I showered and just put the shaken out brush to it for about 15 seconds. I had sufficient lather for 3 plus passes. This Dusy Kabinett soap and its predecessor Klar Kabinett are the best soaps I have ever used. Anyhoo, the 3 pass shave left me clean and smooth and the Old Spice finished me off an out the door for a Saturday morning meeting. Have a great weekend!

Today it was the battle of Flash versus Cella. Cella, of course won! This Semogue brush has shorter bristles and it seems to work better in small soap tub...like Cella. A great shave. Enjoy the Saturday gents!
