My latest injector arrived yesterday, another Type L. I didn't have a yellow one... I don't even know how many I have. How many do you have?
I have 1 injector and one repeater. I had 2 repeaters but that seemed greedy so I traded one for a brush.
Not sure but I may have to go count now. I'm thinking...injectors...not too many...maybe 20 or so....hmm....
I spent the month of September trying out various injectors and caught a tremendous case of injector RAD! I now own 12 injectors with another one, two, or more...in my future. I'm dedicating most of this year towards getting to know each one better by using each injector for about a month and rotating through all of them this year. 1950s Era Pal Adjustable Injector PAL InjectoMatic 1933 Schick Type C1 Magazine Repeater Open Comb 1935 Schick Type D 1935-45 Schick Type E2 1937 Schick Made in Canada Type E 1946-55 G4 Schick 66 Navy 1946-55 G5 Turquoise 1955-58 Schick Eversharp Type I2 1962-68 Schick Lady Eversharp Type K (purchased for my wife but she prefers the turquoise Type G5) 1965-80 Schick Type L 1980-98 Schick Type N2 I'm also on the waiting list for a new injector - The Single Edge by Supply Provision Co.. ...and really look forward to the homemade "Bunny Injector" by TSD member @twhite !
I don't own any injector razors. I'm also waiting to try the Bunny injector. It may be my first injector.
Ahhh come on! Everyone deserves to enjoy the Injector Experience......You all owe it to yourselves.... I'm not saying you need to burn your DE's and become born again injector shavers....like many who try them do....Present company excluded.... But I think everyone who enjoys a good shave, owes it to themselves to at least try one....And I mean that in all sincerity and as a fellow caring Denizen...
Okay, I have just looked at various sources and I have the following: Schick Injector Type I - In storage Schick Type L Twin x3 - All three are black not blue Schick Type L Yellow Lady Schick Stick Schick Type L - In storage Schick Grip Type L - In storage Schick Championship Type L x3 Schick Adjustable Type M Schick Injector Type N Gillette Trac II Twin Injector Pal InjectoMatic x2 - One in storage Personna Injector Schick Type E3 - The only used one I have bought. Bravo Sabre, you should bring your harem over to the Injector & SE Party thread and show those pretty injectors a good time.....I'll tell the bartender that menthol is on the house.........It would be great if you posted a group shot of your lovelies ovah there....
Its a British Made Personna Executive the same as the one to the right of it..These are very Rare & a Different Animal to the Milder USA Made Ones..I suspect that White one wasn't in production..I reckon it may be a Factory Blank of some sort..I don't know though..It shaves the same as the other Executive.. Billy..
I own about 12 Injectors, but since they shave like a TracII for me, I never use them. I have found that I like the earlier type G more than the later ones.
I have own quite a few actually, but right now I've tried to pif away what I don't use regularly....I'm not a collector....although I think collecting these lovelies is a noble and honorable hobby.... My current line-up is: C type Schick Simplified Automatic razor E2 early type that opens to clean...perfect shaver! G8 love it! Very efficient! H1 Eversharp Ladies Fashion razor....latest acquisition...waiting to try it! I2 Hydro-magic....my Highlander razor PAL Injecto-Matic....another perfect injector razor...this one made in England by the good folks at Ever Ready. Thats it for now...I have had Js, Ks, many Ls, and Ms....nothing newer than that... Each one of these are practically perfect in every way...although I haven't tried the H...I'm expecting to really dig it aswell....I'll add an adendum next week about that one....
I have the Pal Adjustable and the later Personna Star Trek. I keep them mainly for looks because, for me, they do not shave as well as my old Schick E2, which I wish I hadn't parted with. (if anyone has a swing-open E2 laying around, lemme know)
