I fell in a parking lot around Christmas time in downtown.

It's almost unbelievable how little stuff like that can happen, and end up being quite severe. How long you gonna hold out?

Had an automatic two pass DFS with a razor I had never used before this morning. This is the last of the three I got bake last week. Union Cutlery co Gold Coin. Had a bit of surface rust on the blade and tang, so it got polished out. Unfortunately, most of the gold plate on the tang is gone now. Smooth easy to use shaver.

When to a wet shaver meet up in KC this afternoon. Got a demonstration on honing, did some trading, and won a new EJ DE. Have a few new soaps to try, and met the people that keep beating me to the estate sales. It was a good time.

It's an issue about weight right now, unfortunately knee replacement or hip replacement don't favor us bigger guys. Im 6'4" so I'd need to be at 200-210lbs which means I'm looking at losing 50lbs, I'm not sure I could get down to 210lbs and maintain that weight for good. I do know I haven't see that number since I was 17.

    March 5

    Razor - Feather SS
    Blade - [IMG] (5)
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
    Soap - Tabac
Post - Cold Rinse, Alum, Nivea Original Balm, The Veg

The Kai Mild is doing great for five days now. No noticeable difference in sharpness or feel. So far it seems the only problems I've had with it were more my mistakes than anything that can be blamed on the blade. If it has a weakness that I can detect to this point it is the impression I have from previous shaves with the Feather Pro that the Kai Mild is not as effective due to being less sharp. It's an impression that I will get to compare in the next few weeks against all three of the "sharper" blades that are in store for it. It would makes sense that while the shaves are more forgiving and less risky for cuts etc. that they would also be less effective and require a bit more effort.

As for today it took three passes to achieve a very nice DFS and that was with minimal burn from the alum. Rather than go ATG on the neck I chose to use the pain slide technique in its place. I'm not sure if I will continue to get away with that or not once I go to the Kai Original, but we shall see! The Veg for a great finish and a busy day at work.

I can't imagine how much that must have hurt. A dislocation doesn't seem so bad now.

Alum drys me out too much for regular use. I only pull it out to check my skill on irritation free days and to stop bloodloss on the opposite kind of day.

    He's baaaaaaaaaack!

After a short hiatus for trying out the homemade injector razor of TSD member @twhite , I'm back for my 10th straight Focus/Rule.
I cut the end of my February focus by one week and the beginning of March Focus to chronicle my sweet experience with the homemade injector known as the Bunny razor.

I'm back now and ready to continue my 2016 focus on all the injectors I accumulated after a habit-forming SE September last year.
After two successful Focus months of January (Schick Type C1) and February (Schick Type D), I'm continuing my march through the alphabet this month with a focus on Schick E types. With about four weeks remaining in March, I will spend the rest of the month alternating between my Schick Canadian E and my Schick US E2.

    Cheers!

Shave 2 with the 1912. I discovered today that she's like a real classy lady. Treat her with respect and take your time, and she'll deliver the baby. Rush her and she's going to destroy you. Slow and easy today delivered the baby. Stetson burned though. I need to buy some balm or witch hazel because it's drying my face out really badly. I'm slowly but surely conquering the 1912. Still getting used to the angle too. Blade is on shave 2 and still sharp and smooth. I'm really impressed with this razor. I think I like it so much that I'm going to use SE exclusively. That is still to be determined.

Thanks for the offer but I will be 3 days in Vegas and just 4 in SC with me dad. Very tempting as I am intrigued by the 'Bunny' but the window is pretty tight. I'm on the way to the airport now.

    March 6

    B2 Mongoose
    Feather Super Pro (4)
    Kent BK4 silvertip badger
    Route 66 Lumberjack
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and CC Bay Rum

I had a fantastic two-pass shave this morning with the Mongoose and my first shave during the March focus with no weepers. I'm getting reacquainted with the razor, and the Super Pro blade is settling down a bit. As always, the Route 66 exploded into a great lather. I finished with CC Bay Rum and Terre d'Hermès, two of my favorites. I think the combo of scents work great together. My Bride will let me know when she gets up this morning.

I am reading the Bible through chronologically, so I'm off to complete my morning study. I hope you all have a fantastic Sunday.
