    Short answer: No.

Stainless steel blades do not respond to stropping.

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush

    Soap/cream- Proraso Eucalyptus and menthol

    Brush- Omega S-brush

    Razor- AlumiGoose

Blade- Feather Artist Club Professional super(2)

Post- Cold water rinse, Humphreys witch hazel, Lucky tiger bay rum aftershave lotion and The body shop Vitamin E day cream

The AlumiGoose is proving to be an amazing razor! Im getting very very nice shaves.

The Feather pro super has elevated the razor a lot, I get better shaves than with the Pro blades. We’ll see how durable they are, can I get more than 5 shaves? =)

The pro are good blades, but these are better for my coarse facial hair.

I have gone through the blade sampler from Tryablade now, and my evaluation runs counter to everyone else it seems. My favorite was the Captain Titan ProTouch. Could it be that my technique has improved since starting with the usual suspects?

I had the same thoughts as I started with the Feather Pro and worked towards the obscure. I ended up buying Feather Pro and Feather Pro Guard in the end.

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush

    Soap/cream- Proraso sandalwood and sheabutter

    Brush- Whipped dog 24mm Silvertip

    Razor- AlumiGoose

Blade- Feather Artist Club Professional (5)

Post- Cold water rinse, Humphreys witch hazel, Lucky tiger bay rum aftershave lotion and Talika Photo-hydra day cream

This fifth shave on the Pro blade was NOT the nicest and I got mediocre shave. Maybe 4 shaves is the limit. I'm gonna try and compare the pro and the pro super.

Long time ago I used my whipped dog. initial impression is that I needed to load more than usual. I have used synthetics for a while, plisson and omega s brush. They require less soap for my usual 2 pass shave.

My Mongoose Batch 3. Haven't had a chance to shave with it yet but I keep it on my nightstand for home defense. IMG_0398-1.jpg IMG_0399-1.jpg

  19. Does anyone know what happened to @sucker4cologne's latest Mongoose order a few weeks ago? Did he finally get a decent one? or did he get a lemon again? I'm just curious to know.
