    SUNDAY
My first shave in five days and up for the challenge was this custom Clauss 6/8" round point (more photos here ) that was recently honed.
Smooth as silk shave! :) L'Occitane 'Cade' lather provided a slick surface and the Clauss performed superbly against the thickest growth I've had in recent memory. A true BBS shave resulted. This razor ships out this week to @david of central florida and I'm happy to report it is quite an outstanding shaver! Lovely shave! :happy088:
    Have a blessed Sunday, all!

    Hey Friends,

are you ready for my Sunday-Afternoon Shave? ;)

Tim´s Soap Columbia River // Mongoose (B2) w. J.Hempel Handle // Feather Pro Guard // PAV Brushworks Beastie // CH Pitralon

Great shave again. As soon as i´ve heared / read that Tim don´t sell / create soaps anymore, i had known, that this shave would be a "Tribute" shave. His soaps are so good that i had to do it. So sad that he´s out of business...

The soap was very easy to lather, the scent was great and in combination with the Mongoose it was great to shave. After i finished my 3-passes with hot and cold water i used my trusted and loved swiss Pitralon. Never used it in this combination, but the scents are pairing really nicely.

Now my Girlfriend makes Muffins which we enjoy a bit later and i´m thinking, which pipe i should smoke after it. Life is good.

Have a blessed time and take care.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    gorgo2 geezerhood

•Gillette short black Adjusable (setting 2)
    •Schick 2002 blade (shave #3)
    •Cremo cooling

I give up. I've used this blade in three different Gillettes (Red Tip, '47 Super Speed, now this) and no matter what it gives me an irritable, weepy shave. Blade seems very sharp but I guess it must be the double layered blade that's doing it. Won't be using it again, it's going in the Travel Box because the follow up consisted of...

    •alum block
    •witch hazel
    •stypic pencil
    •Lucky Tiger lotion

and my neck is STILL burning. Where's the lidocaine...

    Have a nice week!

What do you think about the Thäter? I'm thinking about buying one really nice badger brush this year ... either Thäter or Shavemac. I like some backbone though (my Semogue OC 2-band is almost too floppy for my taste ;) ).

Good post thanks. It is a nice looking shave mug. What is written on the mug? I find it hard to read.
