Went to a meet up in KC today. Traded some stuff and won a razor/ cream set in the raffle. It had been donated by the manufacturer.

Not shaving related, but after doing some chainsaw work off of my 28 foot extension ladder (a left over from stint as a Cable collections & disconnections technician) I was really missing my safety gear. I recalled seeing some at a local pawn shop. They had a big ole box of gear for reduced prices. I went through all dozen sets and picked a Reliance #802000 harness. It has a D-ring on the back that I've never used, and 2 on the hip that give me hands free action while standing two and a half stories up a tree. Gave it a good soaking in laundry detergent to remove whatever contaminants the last user left on it. I can't wait to trim more dead limbs up in the sky!

Thanks, Mister. Glad it got there that quickly.

O.T. I do not know why, but my P.O., and its corresponding hub, Minneapolis, (which is four hours away), always gets thing OUT faster than they come IN. Priority is always listed as two day, not three, first class usually makes the trip in three. Basically, whatever my receipt arrival time says, that's what it will be.

I am not a big E bay seller type by any means, but I have done at least three dozen Flat Rate Priority parcels this year. Every single one of them has gone out and been successful as TWO DAY priority. How come everywhere else incoming lists as THREE, and half the time takes five?

I have had old time, southern pipeline inspectors tell me that MN, ND, WI kids are the best pipeliners from anywhere. Are we just that damn cold, we can't stop moving?

Why does are mail successfully move out faster than it ever comes in?

Had a meetup with 4 other wetshaving buddies and did a little lathering, shaving, sampling, and bartering.

    I came away with:

Full bottle of Strop Shoppe Debonair a/s
Full bottle of Chiseled Face Sherlock a/s
    Sample of Stirling Executive Man
    Sample of Stirling Barbershop

Just traded off some soaps I didn't use anymore plus a little cash. New stuff! Love the aftershaves.

It depends on the shoe. My nominal size is somewhere around 10 1/2 to 11 D (or whatever average width is), but I have 12s that fit just fine. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!

Smells fantastic, like a cologne. Since it is supposed to smell like Creed Aventus. And it will perform like all Stirling soaps, just great. It's a highly recommended soap

I really enjoyed the scent of KO shave Silver which was also inspired by creed aventus. I guess I need to try thos ine out as well. So glad Stirling does samples. I'm also interested in Success from the shavingshoponline. I heard that's yet another clone. And gingers garden has one...lol.

Yeah Sherlock is a personal favorite of mine I'll never be without!

The Debonair is supposed to be a companion to Black Tie, and it does smell pretty close. They also had 221B which was a companion to Baker Street but it was sold out when I tried to buy some
