    PLAla Bit Shy of a Full Puck

    Give it a try and see if you like it. I think on cold mornings I would still shave with hot water. But the temps are warming up and the last two cold shaves have felt really invigorating. I think it will feel especially good this summer.

    Well said! The same holds true for me.

    I face lather and have been very unsuccessful in getting a truly "hot" lather . Even when mixing in the scuttle, the best I have ever come up with is a warm lather, never a hot one. It does feel nice on the face, but for me it also tends to increase the likelihood of irritation.

    After: Home made ASB, Barbon after shave
    Cologne: Gravity

    Brush: VDH Badger
    Soap: Italian Barber
    Pre Shave oil: Homemade
    AS:Dove. Men+ Care

    As usual my Lady J did her thing, 1st. pass ATG smooth as silk, 2nd pass WTG/XTG and clean up (a little extra thin lather in spots). I`m going to give it a DFS +. Satisfied customer. It is what it is. Happy shaving to all.

    TWO full passes with the Beaver! A lot better results than yesterday. Then a third pass with the Futur to even everything out. Practice practice practice.....

    Medford Mail Tribune (Oregon). Sunday Nov. 7/1943. My oldest son found a whole stack ( maybe 20 or more) in an attic, I forget when, maybe 30 yrs. ago and my wife just found them in a drawer in the back bedroom a about a month ago. Thought I would share them with you guys. Hope you enjoy them. More pics on the way.
