Mine is from 1972, it does have a head of a Type K but a handle inspired by the Type L. As Appleby's classification is also Chronological, this is an oversight.
I wonder how many were produced?

Its a hard call that one because EBay is full of them..That said they tend to lay around for a long time like a lot of the Ladies Eversharp Models..:angelic007:

    Yo @twhite....
Very nice layout.....The whole vibe was strong, aggressive and no nonsense......

Great review @twhite .....and great photo...thanks for thinking of me....:eatdrink047:
Sounds like I'm gonna enjoy the test drive...;) By the Way.....your 'H' type appears to be a splendid example of the breed....The razor aswell as the chick are both striking! And the razor would pass for having never been used...:happy108: I hope mine ends up looking at least half that nice....Yours looks like she left her Jag F type with the valet and is having a few drinks at the country club......I've only seen a couple pics of mine, but it's quite possible, mine could be doing shots on the other side of the tracks behind the 7/11...:happy097: ....we will see....
    Congratulations....

Whew! Yo Ru (@Rufus T. )....I'd leave a nice teenage single malt (maybe a 15 or 18 year old) by the door and maybe a Hagis in the oven, before going to bed tonight....

Hey....just chalk it up to developing defensive blade technique just in case those Scottish Ninjas in Kilts ever make the scene...:happy097:.....:duel:

    Now do I need a Type K in Pink with a ferrule, and a Type I Hydro-Magic anymore? I think a mint Golden 500 is my final Schick...Oh apart from a G8 I am watching ;) ...

    Menthol Monday
This shave felt colder than usual for some reason. I nearly shed a tear with the aftershave, and I still feel the cool thirty minutes later. Krampert's soap lathers up very easy and thick, setting up my stubble for a visit from OCMM. The third shave on this blade was more comfortable than the last, thought that could be the menthol talking. Three passes to near BBS without weepers. Pi Neo goes very well with Krampert's woodsy cool scent.

    Prep: Van Yulay PSO
    Soap: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Gem OCMM
    Blade: Rite-Aid Personna (3)
    AS: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    EdT: Givenchy Pi Neo

The type I2 hydro-magic is different enough that you will probably still want it aswell....It's a tad more aggressive than the Js and has a different feel in the hand...You're not getting off that easy....:bounce015:

    Schick injector E5 / Dutch (1)
    T & H 1805
    Vie-Long Horse hair and Badger
    Avon quadra FX ASB
    Gillette Cool Wave AS

I had two days Grieg and started off with a Chick blade on its 8th use. It was rough and tugged quite a bit so I changed it out for the Dutch NOS blade. Smooth and sharp and the shave was excellent. Continuing with the Schicks in anticipation of receiving the Bunny razor.

I am going to try to remember to post my SE shaves here this week. March 7, 1969, was my DROS date to leave Vietnam for the States. I was able to leave on the 5th though. I did not complain. So, March 7 is a very special date to me.

    C. V. Heljestrand razor (later version)
    C. V. Heljestrand wedge blade "SONDAG" from 7 day set (2nd shave since honing)
    Whipped Dog 24mm synthetic brush
    Valobra Fougere hard soap
    Fine Fresh Vetiver aftershave

The later model C. V. Heljestrand razor looks similar to the early version I used yesterday but has a totally different feel as it weighs twice as much. I wanted to see if the harshness I experienced yesterday was due to the blade or the razor - it's the blade.

I had finished honing this blade on .3 micron lapping film. The consensus on the honing forums is that this will result in an edge that is extremely sharp but somewhat harsh. I have to agree.

Todays shave, like yesterday's, was extremely close with a bit of irritation.
