Thanks. Not yet. The blades I have are a little rusty. I plan on picking some up this weekend to try it out.
Funny how each of us has a preference. I like the weight and the razors have great balance. The square handle is another feature I like. But this is just one mans opinion.

There's a little plating missing across the top of the blade spring on the head but that's it. When I cycled the blades through it, it still had the brass blank in it that notified of 5 blades left, please buy more. this razor wasn't used much.
I'm happy to have this B2 perhaps a bit older than KD's but pretty nice. The instructions appear to have been printed in 1928. The razor was full of blades but I cycled those out. I will hand load it when it comes out to shave.
If you are bidding on this one, beware. It is jammed. It took two days for the seller to get back to me to tell me it doesn't open.
The B1 I bought was stuck closed. Not really a problem a good soaking will loosen it up. The big problem is when they are stuck open. If you can get it open, extract the magazine and old blades out you should be okay. The plating looks okay. I would want a decent price if I was buying it. Also look at the head mounting screw if it's buggered then forget about it.
