  2. Late night shave with an old PAL. Yup, it was nice to be reunited with my PAL Injecto Matic. A fantastic shave in every way. Dolphin smooth, no nicks, cuts or weepers. Smooth, smooth, smooth shave and result. Life is good. :happy036:

  16. Thanks. That's what I am doing! On January 1, I shaved a straight razor for the first time. I used a Fatboy for touch up the first month. Since about day 51 or so it's been really good. The plan is 90 consecutive days before I decide if it's really for me as a long term daily option.

Good morning everyone. It felt really nice to be back to the R41 this morning. The R41 is funny to me in that ounce you've shaved with it, it is so efficient that ounce you try another razor it seems like a lot of work. Tried another Maggard soap from my sampler today, Lilac. Very beautiful scent with this soap and it lathers very easily, is plenty slick and cushiony. After watching one of @Cap7597
videos recently I have to agree with him that I never even knew I liked floral scents till I started shaving with "traditional" soaps. This hobby even teaches you things about yourself... Isn't that something. Very nice shave this morning, I hope you guys do as well or better and have a great day friends.:)
