  1. Very good advice my man!
Yep.....March 24......Our dear friend.....The Ever Ready Little Lather Catcher will turn 102 years old......We need to celebrate......after all....this is one razor that loves to party.....The ER 1914 is the original "Wild Child" ...those that have one know what I mean.....Those that don't, need to score one so you can join in on the Centennial +2 celebration....

I'm open for ideas.....Let's hear em.....How do you cats think we should celebrate the 1914's 102nd ?
  2. That lather looks amazing! May have to give Route 66 a try!
  3. Can't wait to hear your shave report of the H Bird! Loved the Monty Python reference. "What are you going to do? Bleed on me?" :happy102:

  5. I find the 1914 to be very aggressive, so, I just break it out on the anniversary of its patent. It is very tricky changing the blade. I hope to see more guys shaving with it on the 24th.

  6. You won't be disappointed. It is my favorite brand of soap. Lathers great and is slick.
  7. First shave with the PAL Injector and liking it.

A great shave today with the B2. The TOBS lathered well and the razor left me Dolphin smooth.

  10. Second day with the PAL on the medium setting an I got a very nice shave. It did take more passes than I am used to to get a BBS. I'm going to dial up the aggressiveness tomorrow to see if I can cut the number of passes. This is a fun razor.

    Williams modern
    Comet Superfine Badger
Every Man Jack mint face lotion

My first shave with the Bunny was very good. The razor lived up to the hype. It is a very efficient razor. I used the Mild comb and ended up Dolphin smooth. I look forward to the next while evaluating this razor.

PAL Adjustable, NOS Schick Super Chromium blade (5) and a lot of Tabac.

My third day revisiting the PAL Adjustable, which combined with Tabac resulted in an exquisite shave. :happy088:

  14. Trying to identify this green handle. Schick E3 or 4. I believe the other is a Eveready 1912

  16. It's a British Ever-Ready and a G-5 Schick. It's been on my watch list since it was listed. I have some other things working, so it's back burner. Let us know what you decide.
  17. I closed the deal on another G-5. No pressure now

  18. March 10, 2016
The month of March with my two Schick E razors.

Skipped my shave yesterday because my shave with the E2 the day before was that good. First time I’ve skipped a weekday shave!

So onto the Canadian Schick E

    Hot Shower
    Razor: Schick E (Canada)
    Blade: Schick (China) (1)
Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle (Thanks @Douglas Carey )
    Brush: Rubberset 400-4
    TSD Witch Hazel
    Myrsol Plastic Shave

    03-10-16.JPG

    Two-pass shave - XTG, ATG
Almost the same routine as the E2 - just pay attention to angle, pressure, and each stroke and this razor delivers. feedback seemed slightly louder than the E2 as well as a bit less of a bite on my chin. Nine hours later and Im still sooooo smooth.

    I’m liking these E types.

    Cheers!

  20. Alien Sky (LazyLens 20160305 113520 HD).jpg Shave #7 on the E-4 razor/chick combo. Three passes and my skin is as smooth as dad's naugahide chair:). I now am thinking I can get a dozen shaves from this system! Tabac all around for this evening's shave:)
