    Thanks to @LuvWetShavin I just received a package from the February newbie giveaway. [​IMG]
    Not only did he send this beautiful RazoRock Plissoft brush but he also sent some blades and a soap sample. I can't wait to shave tonight.

    I stopped at some thrift stores on the way home and scored 2 shaving bowls.

    When I got home this was waiting for me, along with an eye roll from the wife.

    Scary how much our tastes are similar. Now I know who the watcher is on all those wood handled brushes I am monitoring online. I am glad I just cant put as much money into new stainless steel razors as you do or our collections would eerily similar.

    There's a guy in the UK who modifies, hones and then sells these razors shave-ready. For only 20 bucks I thought I'd give it a shot. First impression: Man, that thing is sharp. I'll use it for tomorrow's shave.

    Good thing about these vintage brushes is that they don't go for much (yet).
    I have twelve now - all different - and combined cost for all of them is probably still below $100.
