My fourth SR shave. I'm going to give my face a couple days break before I look like I got in a pretty serious fight. I have three, 1/2" red lines(aka cuts), that need to heal up before I add more to my face. So, I'm putting the SR down for a couple days and going back to my DEs. (Honestly I miss the DEs).

I am getting pretty good, smooth results on my cheeks second pass. Other areas need more practice.

Over all, I'm enjoying doing the first two passes with a straight, then third pass is a clean up with a DE.

    Beaver (2passes)
    Arko
    Futur for cleanup

You said Razorock/ Zenith. How do you like it? So the knot is a Zenith knot I assume?

I wasn't going to shave today but the stubble grew quickly overnight. My skin felt it could take it.
    Prep - hot shower
    Razor - gold tech
    Blade - Astra
    Brush - trader joes synthetic
    Soap - trader joes
Post - witch hazel , neutrogena balm
    Cologne - citrus musk

The shave was great. This razor will definitely be my go to razor. When all else fails I can count on it to give me my best shaves. I had only shaved with it with the Israel blades but even the Astra felt good in it today. No irritation, although if I chased it I could get bbs, but I'm not I got DFS. I love this razor.

Prep: Hot Shower/ Nivea Original Men's Face Wash
    Pre-Shave: Proraso White Cream
Shave Soap: Barrister & Mann Latha Oceana
    Brush: Jack Black/ Muhle Synthetic
    Razor/ Blade: Merkur 1906/ Voskhod (2)
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm
    Aftershave: Fine Clean Vetiver
Very happy with last night's shave. The Barrister & Mann soap produces some of the thickest and slickest lather in the game. I enjoy the soaps a lot. Post shave is always great, as well. I really love the Oceana scent, not really aquatic, but more just clean. I like this Muhle synthetic brush a lot. It doesn't have much backbone, but a decent amount and I always get a fantastic lather with it. The handle also has a very nice weight to it. Spring is here in Boston! Weather up to 70s today and I got one more day until spring break. What's not to love? Have a great day Gents.

    Floïd Blue, Adieu

Floïd Blue, adieu, goodbye. One more bottle of this magnificent aftershave has gone - of course with my joy and pleasure - and I need a new one. I fortunately still have some bottles in my shave den, so I am not out of it yet. It is however so bad Colomer discontinued Floïd Blue and it seems they are not changing their mind. This is what some retailers told me so far, they all told me Floïd Blue is out of production. As for the shave, a genuine pleasure thanks to the smoothness of Mastro Livi Grifetto and Cella shaving cream, including the Omega 48 brush, one of the very best bristle brushes around.
    • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
    • Soap: Cella Shaving Cream
    • Brush: Omega Bristle Brush 48
    • Strop: Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop and Hand Palm
    • Razor: Mastro Livi Grifetto Mother of Pearl, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round Point
    • Post-Shave: Alum Block
    • Post-Shave: Umbria Extravirgin Oil
    • After Shave: Floïd Blue

My first time using it and I like it. Dense like my Omega 10098 but has a knot of 28mm with loft of 50mm. Hair is finer and feels softer with just one use than my 10098 with 11 uses on it. This one is a keeper. Not a fan of the aluminum handle so might sacrifice the handle and drop knot into another handle.

I have one of these brushes but in style 505 and this one 506. Personally I think this is a great brush and underrated. It is a Zenith knot, nice and dense like my LeonHardy's but shorter loft with soft tips. Liked the knot so much I went back and ordered another one in style 506 but in Olive Wood. Hopefully the new brush will arrive this week. RR states he believes best value under $150 and I think heck of deal for $69 or less. Bought mine when they were on sale @ $59.
