Came close to buying a vacuum pot a few times. Do you notice any discernible differences with it. I like how they operate a nice item for small party entertaining.

Looks like a spot to "find us" in the upper right on the website above. But, I've only just heard of them now.

Also looks like you can find them at WalMart.

Believe it or not, but yes. I have a stove top Cory Vacuum Pot(all glass with glass filter) and an unknown tabletop with cloth filter and the smoothest cup of coffee is the all glass Cory. I also have Kalita pour over and an Aeropress type unit but the Cory is the best. Traded a Muhle XL synthetic for mine and well worth the trade. This one is big enough for five cups (20oz) and now looking to trade again for a larger version of the Cory.

to follow up-closest one to me is a few towns away...no mention of Walmart, but I'll investigate. They do appear to take their coffee seriously, which I like.

Keurig with reusable filters, so I can add any coffee I want, and don't have to pay ridiculous prices for the single serving packs/cups.
But, I prefer a French Press coffee maker, for flavor.. It just takes longer to prepare.

Fresh ground caribou, huh? Is that like adding a pinch of sea salt? ;)

Guys... I've reached a new "low" in coffee obsession...

Yesterday, I hit up a different local roaster (a couple towns over, not the new one in town) and bought a pound, yes a pound, of dark roast Guatemalan beans. Today, I hand ground (Hario manual burr grinder) enough for a 6-cup pot of French press.

I blame @swarden43 ... the next logical step is for me to get help or start ROASTING my own.
