3/11/16 - #90 The "problem" of searching for and finding the ONE razor is that I now have several ONE razors to use. I recently sent off this Gillette New LC to Delta Echo Razorworks for a complete replate. I am so pleased with the results of this Gun Kote finish that I may be sending another off soon. The New LC is a fantastic razor and I could easily use only it and be completely satisfied! The finish is now Delta Echo's 'Ink and Red" coating. It's not quite black and not quite red, but a dark grey and orangy red. I like it very much. Prep: warm wash with Kirk's Lather: Route 66 Lumberjack Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Razor: Gillette New LC Blade: Gillette Silver Blue Post: Avon Island Lime 2 simple passes and a near BBS shave. Awesome shave!
My SOTD Prep- hot shower Razor - 1959 fatboy (5) - (3)- (3) Blade - personna blue new Brush - trader joes synthetic Soap - proraso green Post - witch hazel, trader joes balm Cologne- Lilac veg. What a great shave this morning. Very little irritation. I cut my upper lip in the corner from the over hang. I always do that !!! But this razor is great. I like the fatboy over the slim.. It seems to shave way different.. I'm smooth as silk!! Happy shaving gents!
