The blades are stored in the Handle. You swivel the head back and load the blade from the handle. There is loading mechanism that assists in sliding the blade up... I think...

What I do with Arko is I use my pocket knife and cut slices, it's really pliable. Use my thumbs and form it into whatever container I want to use.

Thanks guys. I've been wanting one of these for awhile.. I justified the purchase when I bought the arko sticks. But just goes to show, there is a lot more I don't know.. I might have to do some homework and see what vendors are out there and what they carry..

The repeating razor originally had a "clip" that held 20 blades. It was loaded into the handle and when a new blade was needed the head rotates back even with the handle and by pulling the "slide" back and pushing it forward the new blade slides into place "ejecting " the old blade. These are fascinating razors that shave very well and actually work as designed. The original patent was 1926 for the type B. If you stop by the SSROC http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/schick-repeating-razor-owners-club-srroc.47775/ you can see more stuff about these razors!

Thank You Primotenore! The case has a few blemishes, but the razor itself looks fine. It is still in transit, and due in from Uruguay on 11 April. I can hardly wait.

Since Arko is tallow based I don't think it will melt in the microwave. But as @RaZorBurn123 said it is very pliable.
