Sounds like he's better at shaving related items than mowers! Maybe he should rethink his area of expertise...:happy102:

That was my first brush, and I still use it as my travel brush.

Two more razors... One is my first "made in England". The store we want to today hast quite a few flare tips, notched 40s SS, a black handle and a couple Slim's. Surprisingly reasonably priced. $15-35. Not that I needed another slim but I paid $15 each for my two today. (The other slim was $35, in a GEM case)

    Anyway, on with the show...

    The slim is a U2.

The OC says Brit. Pat NO 400621. Gillette. Made in England. The combs on both side looked just a little tweeked on the ends and the bottom screw knob is coming out of the handle. This is my first Brit made razor, any info on dates would be great.

Okay, so I made one more purchase, another plastic box thingie for my blades...

And there's still some space for more blades. :angry032:

I picked up this little guy at a thrift store today. It has lots of little ridges all over the inside. I'm hoping it helps the create a better lather. For only a buck it was worth the risk

My 2 ounce jar of Clubman shaving soap arrived.
image.jpg Smells like Clubman. I'll use it tomorrow.

According to mr razor, that's a 1936 Brit aristricrat.

And I'd be more than happy to make a deal for it... That would look great next to my Sheraton.. They are cousins.. You wouldn't want to keep family apart would you?

Thanks for the info. I just cleaned and polished it up. The doors are just a tad loose but might tighten down on a blade straight. I'm going to hopefully shave with it tomorrow.... I will let you know about keeping the family together ;)

Very nice. I have a 1938 U.S. Senator that looks similar. Wonder how different the Brit O.C. TTO shaves. These are on the aggressive side I suggest a light touch.

Very nice. Hopefully this one shaves good. Like mentioned the doors and comb are not as tight as I'm used to. We'll see.

At looking at the pic , it looks like the tray is bent down where the teeth are bending down .. And I saw somewhere how to fix the bottom turn knob dropping.

    Received these three things in the past couple of days;

    1) A Schick Super II DeLuxe
I personally really like the look of this old cartridge razor with its thin handle and gold details.
Introduced in the 1970's but it's still looking good for a 40 year old cartridge razor ;)

    2) Three shampoo bars of Mike's Natural Soap
This is the second year now where I am almost exclusively only using Mike's shampoo bars and my hair has never been cleaner :)
(@Hodge so yours might be on their way as well)

    3) A vintage M-Bros 2 brush
This brush surprised me a bit when I unpacked it and picked it up - a much more 'substantial' feel to it than most of the other vintage brushes that I have.
A really nice weight and very, very smooth curves and lines.
I'm really pleased with it - as I think it looks and feels fantastic - but I'm fully aware of these vintage wood-metal brushes is not everyone's cup of tea :)

Well you really don't need a mower right now. I love the Goodwill razor. That is the other razor on my short list.
