New injector finds today. Anyone know what colour the Schick E2 injector handle is referred to ? Excited about my first Pal razor.

Thanks Billy. Just finished shaving with the Pal injector and a Ted Pella (Personna) blade. Lighter weighted feel than the Schick E injectors I used. Effecient but not as aggressive as my E2. Will have to try with Chick blade next round.
What I like about injectors is that they can mow down a beard pre\post shower or pre shave oil\lotion similarly. The thicker sturdier blades farewell with gray beards and coarser hair I find.
Lot also came with one of these blades but I don't think it's a razor blade.

Razor: Rolls
Brush: 24mm Pure Black WD
Soap: MWF
AS: VIBR

Tonight I had my 4th shave with the Rolls. I have been Using the Rolls to keen the edge at night.
I did a 4 pass shave with it. I normally do not go 4 passes but I was having so much fun and the blade was cutting fine. Why not.

As always the MWF makes a nice slick lather. First pass WTG went pretty good. I need to work on going around and down my jaw and chin. I am not very smooth doing this yet. No weepers or anything so that is great.

Second pass XTG and my new diagonal cuts only jaw. went pretty good. The reduction is not what I have come to expect from my SE's. It is a learning curve i believe.

Third and fourth pass went ATG. No drama there either. I finished my shave with a DFS. There are a few areas that if I were using another razor I would have done a cleanup. As this one is so new to me I did not want to press my luck.

Very fun razor to use. It makes me really concentrate. This will find its way into my rotation for sure.

Nice write up Tom, lovely brush. Love the theme...I'm a Eurythmics fan and Annie Lennox in general.

 

When I use these Rolls Razors with a Wicked Sharp Blade Tom my Whiskers are Blootered just about on the 1st Pass..It just might be a Technique thing..The Edge of these Sheffield Steel Rolls Blades when Truly Sharp will put a Feather Pro to Shame & I reckon they are just about the Sharpest Modern Blade Available Today..

I think I will have to bite the bullet and get a edge outside the Rolls. It does not tug so it is fairly sharp. At least I know what I will be doing tomorrow afternoon.

Aye..This is the main issue with them Tom & the reason a lot of folks give up on them..These Blades Should be Awsome Sharp..It should almost feel like shaving with a Glass like Diamond Cutting Edge..They Should be Scary Sharp but Smooth..I can promise You Once you get that properly honed outside the system it will Blow You away..

It's not often that I shave twice in a day. Today started very early with a shave with my Type D before heading to the airport. Tonight I had a business dinner and realized it had been 17 hours since I shaved. Time for a touchup, so I got out my G-5 travel razor and did a one pass shave which is all it took to get a DFS after the BBS earlier in the day. My 21 hour day is over. Good night

 

The prices of some of these Injectors has went crazy recently..Even ones that are Not Rare..As you say the postage costs to the UK has got silly as well & you are up to get a Whammy at this End as Well..Injectors have taken a Wee Revival at the Moment & some Sellers are Goin for their Lives..

Really nice, efficient shave with the G1. It mowed through a 2-day beard growth with no problems. Have a great day, folks!

 

I finished up the week with the GEM 1912. It was a very successful 7 days of shaves. Tomorrow, I will be breaking out the Schick M2 for the next week.
