I will be. It was pretty scary for my daughter for a while, but I will live.

Curious, how do you use a DE blade in an injector razor?

Any chance we can get a review of the S2. An OC slant, is it the best of both worlds ?

    TUESDAY
Late morning shave using a restored vintage C-MON Special, MWF soap, and Snake Bite finish. Love the smoothness of these old CMONS….
    Have a great Tuesday, all!

I thought the same thing, I believe you can get it unscented but the rose scent dissipates rather quickly. It has beneficial factors:

The health benefits of Rose Essential Oil can be attributed to its properties as an antidepressant, antiphlogistic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, cholagogue, cicatrisant, depurative, emenagogue, haemostatic, hepatic, laxative, nervine, stomachic and uterine substance.

Good to hear you enjoyed the new soap. I'll have to put that on the wish list

    SOTD - 3/15/16

Prep: Hot shower, Nivea Face wash
    Brush: Omega 11575
Lather: Ginger's Garden Lavender Herbal soap with clay and mango butter
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Schick DE (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (4, 5, 6)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Thayer's Witch Hazel pad, Ginger's Garden Lavender Herbal AS splash

I haven't posted an SOTD for a bit. Let me sum up the 3 days I spent with the Croma blade, prior to this Schick getting a turn: two days of bloodshed, followed by one day attempting to shave with a plastic blade :shocked002:. The Schick, while not particularly smooth, feels like velvet by comparison. My lather started a bit watery, so I had to work more than normal on the first pass's preparation. I got a DFS, and no bloodshed, with some minor irritation that the Ginger's Garden AS splash immediately cooled away.

    Fat Tuesday
Bunny ver 3 - Wild / Dutch NOS Super Platinum (1)
    MWF
    Omega 10083 Professional
    Gillette ASB
Jordache Dollar store Old Spice clone
    Tim Horton's Dark Roast Coffee

My 6th shave with the Bunny and the first with the Dutch blade. The shave was good although I did end up with a weeper along the jaw line from my clean up pass. I ended up Dolphin smooth and without the irritation I had the last time I used the Wild Comb.
