Same here. I love the fact that someone else used them for their daily shaves.

Nice job. The last one with the clear base is my favorite but then again they are all nice.

Today was a good mail day. I may or may not have squealed when I saw the box from Glenn. The case brothers with the wood scales was a full resto. The Kinfolks and Genco were polished and honed.

The second box had one of the razors I have been looking for, a Geo. W. Korn Awerican double hollow. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up.

    I received two packages today.
The first was from Eli's Extracts, they sponsored the February newbie giveaway that I was blessed to win:

Not only did they send me two 4 oz jars of their shaving creams as promised but they allowed me to pick an additional 2 oz jar of my choice. Fantastic people, I will be making a write up on these products starting tonight but my initial impressions are positive, they smell fantastic.
    This was my second package:

We shall see tonight if I am chosen.

Thank you! It's a Strong Set I restored with a Whipped Dog black badger knot. It's really soft.

I have several brushes lined up for restoration. It sounds like that might be a nice badger choice. Thanks.

It actually does a great job building lather. Definitely worth the dollar I spent plus it looks nice on the counter.

I scored this for $3 a Weishi 9306-f AKA a Microtouch One, and a Van Der Hagen safety razor. I've got to say after holding one of these and looking at the finish and quality and weight of the razor one should not be embarrassed by using one of these. The head mechanism is nearly identical to that of my flare tip SS and the weight seems about the same. Pair it with a good sharp blade and off you go! I feel like the downfall fall of the MT1 and VDH are the crappy blades that they come with and probably turn more people off to DE shaving, an injustice to a well made inexpensive razor.
