My wife is about to give birth...

    It's now 3:00am I have been up almost 18 hours. I just took my baby over to my wife to breast feed. The hospital room is so tiny I have a foldable pad to sleep on. The plumbing of this building is so old. Whenever somebody next room flush the toilet,"kaboom !". Oh well, it has been a great experience!

    The maternity rooms in our hospital are not dad-friendly either. I spent two nights trying to sleep on a large chair. Those were the worst two nights sleep of my life......,,,as I knew it, then we took my daughter home, and I learned what functioning with no sleep was like.

    My wife had a c-section so we most likely will be for another couple of nights or three!!!!!!
