    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Personna lab blue (4)
Razor: Maggard MR1 with V2 open comb
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with knock-off Old Spice, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

    Cold Water.jpg

Fat Friday! MWF performed well again. The face lathering ended up more as painting than scrubbing. Part of that is the massive size of that Omega brush. But the lather was protective and slick and provides incredible post-shave feel.

All in all a nice CCS with this combo of gear. Personna Blues work great for me and the open comb razor is becoming a favorite.

    Have a great day everyone!

I'm looking ahead to Ghost Town Barber, and maybe that Summer Storm, too. Thanks for the tip on Summer Storm.

A million thanks and a billion kisses and hugs for my darling wife - it was her who bought me this great Acquatico soap and Don Donato aftershave from Italian Barber. The soap is very easy to lather and its scent reminds me of Acqua di Gio eau de toilette. The aftershave is mildly-cooling with a very masculine, "watch it!" kind of scent. A very nice, easy BBS shave - this time with my Super Speed. :happy088: :happy088:

    The Bunny razor w/Mild comb
    Personna blade (new)
    VDH Luxury SS
    Vie-Long Silver Tip brush
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Pinaud Lime Sec cologne w/added menthol

Much better today. A new blade cured the problem and another fine shave was had. Close, comfortable and smooth and I'm ready to go do the "honey-do" list. Now go enjoy your day folks

Hello TSD - my friday shave:

    1803.jpg

    - Route 66 "Sweeney Todd"
    - Mühle STF
    - GEM Featherweight
    - GEM PTFE blade
    - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser
    - Jeris Musk

I just love the performance of the Route 66 soaps. Three passes today, not because I had to, but I wanted to ;) The result: a BBS face. But I actually think I prefer the Schick G over the GEM.

    March 18 - Clubman Friday
Bunny ver.3 NOTSO comb / Dutch Schick (4)
    Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber
    Vie-Long Horse hair
    Gillette ASB
    Pinaud Clubman AS

A great lineup today starting with the Vie Long lathering the Ghost Town Barber on my face with the Bunny working its magic on the whiskers leaving me BBS and AGAIG.

This was actually only my second use of it. I tried bowl lathering it one time and didn't have much luck. Today I just loaded my brush from the container and face lathered it and it was just fine. Slick and shiny in a short amount of time. It does have an bit of an odd smell - sort of like apples - but not too strong. It provided good protection. I'm going to use it for at least a week and see how it develops.

    FRIDAY
Another Sheffield shave this morning with a vintage Joseph Rodgers & Sons 6/8; half-hollow custom.
Shaving cream lather - a rarity for me most mornings—using the fine Institut Karité cream whipped up with the big Omega 48. 'Heartwood' finish.
Excellent results with a somewhat challenging-to-use razor.
    Have a blessed Friday, all!
