Bill, thank you for the encouragement and kind words, my friend. That means a great deal to me. I'm happy to know that your medication has helped you overcome your physical challenges. Praise the Lord for the miracles of modern medicine! I can only imagine how much that allows you to enjoy life and good shaves all the more. I always like reading and learning from your posts. Have a fantastic weekend, and please give those carts another try. I think you will be pleased. :)

What a nasty near cut I had today. About an inch long, and why it didn't bleed more I don't know. Oh wait, that wasn't from shaving, that was from hitting my forehead on a shelf at work today! So all's well. And, at least I smacked myself on my head which is the hardest and least likely to damage area on my whole body. Lots of rock and fat up there.

As far as the shave goes it was a much better day. I worked on the angle as planned, watched the set downs and held the angle and ended with a two pass near BBS. I find it's a bit harder to get close to BBS with the Pro for me, mostly because I think I tend to back off a bit due to showing it maybe too much respect. More work with it will help with that. The alum was a bit hot today on the neck but not as bad as some so overall a good day with the pain stick. Now, to avoid plexiglass shelves that are hanging in front of me.

    Shave Secret PS oil, Arko
    VDH boar, Suribachi bowl
    WD 5/8 Brandt Round Point
    Wild Country AS, Clinique PSH

Thought I'd "rub the stick on my face" but didn't have enough stubble to get a good
load. Next option was rubbing on the textured ceramic bowl, much more better! For those considering joining The Dark Side a Whipped Dog is a decent vintage starter straight. It won't be as pretty as a restored or new razor. It will give good shave for a decent price. Larry will discuss your needs and wants and set you up. My shave was efficient and uneventful, but Arko left me feeling dry. After a splash of Avon AS, I grabbed a smear of Clinique post-shave healer. It has very little scent and a good dose of aloe. Hope Ya'll have good shaves!

Good morning everyone. This morning I had the opportunity to try Palmolive Shave Cream for the first time thanks to my good friend Lance aka @Skinny Rogers. This was the cool menthol version...Amazing! This cream packs a really nice cooling effect but where it really shines is performance. A small amount creates Gobs of creamy thick, slick, especially protective lather. Even more surprising was the post shave skin feel, leaves the face soft and feeling moisturized. Wonderfully dolphin smooth in three passes today with the Evahs. The Evahs is an outstanding razor and I can't recommend it enough, at it's price point it's a razor anyone can have. The finish is near perfect. Have a great shave and a great day guys. :)

BBS and BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-COLD from my Glacial Obsidian soap which buried my face under tons of rich, FRIGID lather that my Plissoft brush whipped up so easily and fast. The matching balm and Snake Bite aftershave splash increased that freeze ten-fold! :happy088: :happy088:

Wonderful shave. The Strop Shoppe Russian Tea is a fantastic soap, the skincare is right on. The Merkur Futur wow! I'm glad I bought this one, it feels so well made. I may dail it down tomorrow to 2.5 I don't think I'll ever get it up to 6, no need.

I really love my Gillette Blue Tip. It's a little milder than my beloved Flair Tip and doesn't feel dangerous anywhere on my face - its the perfect level of comfortable.

My Parker Badger ties with my Edwin Jagger Synthetic in making a thick wet lather.

The Speick cream has a wonderful lavender scent and mixes so quickly on days I'm running behind.

    Aces!
