Went to the Everglades today and met some of the locals..

Stopped at this place for a lunch of crab cakes, frog legs and gator, delicious!

 

Gator is surprisingly good!

 

Frog legs are even better!

It was a beautiful day in Yosemite.

 

The only thing in the world that "tastes like chicken". To me, frog legs taste exactly like the second joint section of a chicken wing. Good eats!

I found a place to get paddles when your up the creek without one, ( a photo from inside the restaurant) but funny,at least to me...

Hummingbird that hangs out in our yard.

 

On Easter break. Not the best conditions for skiing right now and, short of spectacular Easter break sunshine, most of the day is spent indoors or by the cabin doing some woodwork for a book shelf for my daughter (attempting a 'cloud 3D'). Went for a walk and caught this. It's called a "stabbur" and was used for supply/food storage back when. Obviously it hasn't received a stroke of paint since back when, either.



And this is what my mother in law spends her time doing. Not bad!
