Nice set up. I have some Ladas and some Palmolive on order. I hear lots of good things about the Palmolive.

    Shave Den Sunday!

    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Badger
    Lather: TSD Lanolin Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Iced Bay Rum after shave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG, touch-up

What a nice shave with these products! The Schick G1 continues to give me really close shaves. You have to be careful with it because it can bite you quite easily! One tiny weeper today on my chin that was taken care of with the cold water and witch hazel. The Iced Bay Rum splash stung a bit but quickly cooled down and provided a great feel.

TSD soaps are really fantastic! If you don't have any you owe it to yourself to get some. Not only does it support our fantastic forum but the quality of the products is top-notch.

    Have a great Sunday everyone!

Mastro Livi "Perugia 13.12.14", 15/16 Full Hollow, Spanish Point

I have always been fond of Eau de Cologne fragrange, in particular 4911, the original one. I am sure many of you know they also make an aftershave having the same base fragrance, with slightly different nuances in order to make it a more masculine fragrance. No matter what, I would also use an aftershave having the original 4911 fragrance as I like it very much. The aftershave effect of this 4911 is very good, not to mention the pleasure of enjoying the Eau de Cologne fragrance on your skin, very elegant and refined, although many may consider it a bit old fashioned. As for the razor, this time I used this Mastro Livi 13.12.14 which always proves to be a super performing shaver with a superlative velvety touch on the skin, giving a super close shave.

    Brush: Wilkinson Sword.
    Soap: Wilkinson Sword.
    Razor: Gillette 195
    Alum: RazoRock
    Blade: Feather.
    Balm: Nivea.

First time for too many things this shave. I set the razor to 7. I had only used it at 5 before. The soap and the brush are first time tries. Also, it was a first time face lather for me. Overall, there was a lot of irritation and not a very close save. Creams were all I had used before. I could not get the soap to lather very much. Being impatient didn't pay. There were too many changes to know what went wrong. The brush is great. I think I need to learn how to properly lather with a soap.

Good morning gentleman, a relaxing comfy shave this morning. I've used Astra SP's for three years exclusively and they did the job again this morning. It was nice to use CO Bigelow again, always a pleasure.

    Spring Rhapsody
I'm getting to the end of my Rhapsody, as you can see from the photo. I went with a 6-5-4 progression today with very good results. I think I still like triple nickels (5-5-5) better, but this got the job done. The soap lathered like a champ and released its complex, intoxicating scent of spring. I had bay rum on my mind, too, so I used my favorite - Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice.
