The Haul: March 2016

A small bottle of aftershave came in today's mail.

The cap was on so tight I thought I was going to break it getting it loose but eventually it opened and I discovered that the little foil thingy in the top of the cap was stuck to the top of the bottle so I had to pop that off with my fingernail.
Oftentimes I've found that an older bottle of aftershave (or cologne) can stink pretty bad so I was prepared to just be happy with having the bottle in my collection but much to my delight this smells very good and the wife approves.
Maybe being sealed up so tightly kept the contents from deteriorating.

So, did the shave take the worst edges off Grandma?

 

Finally arrived - my Brad Sears G3/26 Manchurian Here still wet after the rinse/first lather yesterday.

I took her for a spin this very morning. Fabulous, dense knot with good backbone and silky tips. Holds tons of water, so I have to work out the right amount. It did whip up my QCS cream into a silvery slick and dense lather right away, though! Ahh..

 

Wow! It's gorgeous!

 

And there was more waiting on my desk at work

 

I've had luck with the Rapira Super Stainless and Voskhod.
