My soap concoction,(the VDH was almost gone so I added some Ivory to it) lathered up good and was very slick much to my surprise,the Old Type with the Lord blade made quick work of my whiskers leaving my face Dolphin smooth so we got one happy ILTS this morning!!!

What, skip shaving for the Easter break just b/c I forgot to bring my soap to the cabin? Oh no! A chance to sample some "satin" G-goo for women, with aloe and whatnots. Found it at the back of the shelf underneath the sink.

Cushion, glide and slickness below par, but I was left with a shave a little south of a DF one. However, the post shave feel is really good! My skin is well moisturized. That said, I won't go buying this stuff...

Nice thick lather and a pleasing yang-ylang scent built on my face over a thin coating of VY PSO prepared my stubble for its fate. Der Futur gently sent that stubble to its watery doom in three smooth passes on five. I finished up with a chilly splash of Shuyak Island with a bit of Pi Neo, and I'm good to go.

Nice CCS this morning. First time using La Toja shaving soap. Wow! I really enjoyed it. Gobs of slick, thick lather with a nice, refreshing scent. That lather provided the backdrop for the Superspeed to glide right through the whiskers. No nicks or weepers today. No irritation, but my lower neck to the right of the Adam's apple is feeling a little stingy. However there is no visible irritation. It has felt that way after shaving the past three or four days. That feeling will go away in a little while. It's a little odd.

I have enjoyed fiddling around with items from the Nationwide Tour Box. It has allowed me to procure my first Superspeed as well as some great soaps and creams.

Since the accident, I am still struggling to move my hands fast enough to actually make a lather. Today I came close.

good, I prefer staying power. The way I view scents that fade quickly is that they were never applied in the first place.

It doesn't get any better than this - a shave with the Glacial Obsidian soap which can knock down a horse with its menthol power. The lather whipped up in record time and the skincare felt brilliant. Its matching balm felt wonderful as well as equally frigid and the Krampert's Frostbite aftershave delivered an additional icy shot!

 

I bet it couldn't have knocked down Secretariat at the 1973 Belmont Stakes!!

 

Is that aftershave splash a takeoff on "English Leather"?
