    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Personna med prep
    Razor: Maggard MR1 with V2OC
    Brush: Badger
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Fine American blend, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG, touch-up

Fat Friday! I came back to my open comb this morning after a few shaves with a G1 injector and a Super Speed. The open comb razor is perhaps my favorite, although the little injector is growing on me. Also using a new-to-me brush courtesy of a PIF by @Drygulch. Nice brush! Much softer and better quality than my other badger.

Mitchell's Wool Fat did not disappoint yet again. That is a fantastic soap - tons of lather, protective, slick, etc. I really enjoy it. This was my first use with a Personna Med Prep blade. I'll give it another go or two but first impressions seem that it is less smooth than the Lab Blues. YMMV of course. Lab blues have become my standard blade at the moment.

I wasn't as smooth on the first pass as I usually am so I had to add in a quick XTG pass. Now I'm pretty smooth and ready for the day.

    Enjoy your Friday!

They make solid products. The stand out for me is the pre shave oil. It has emu oil, which I haven't often seen in other PSO. Works great for me.

Fabulous shave. The Strop Shoppe is a great soap! If I had to keep 3 razors this SS would be one of them.

    Tea Tree Works for me
I used some Body Shop Tea Tree lotion as an ASB and it really cleared up the redness on my neck. The shave was efficient, but a bit rough. Perhaps this blade has prematurely expired. It is tossed in any event, and the experience supports my decision to order 200 Voskhods and stick with those. Tabac AS mixed well with Fireside, both being classic manly scents in my opinion.
    Prep: WSP Matterhorn PSO
    Soap: B&M Fireside
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Futur
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue (3)
    AS: Tabac
ASB: Body Shop Tea Tree lotion

Do I have a built-in air conditioner in my face? Did I walk into a freezer and stay there overnight? No. I had a most delightful shave with the Glacial Spearmint soap which my Plissoft brush whipped up some of the best lather I ever saw. This freeze easily competes with the so-called "coldest soap on the market," the mighty Cryogen. The Lucky Tiger aftershave cream provided a wonderful moisturizing and cooling feeling, and the Rubby Dubby Doo hit me with its own potent freeze! :happy088: :happy088:

A happy Good Friday, my friends! :)

Not much scent in the Lucky Tiger, right? Just the nice feeling, as you describe?
