Since I just signed on, I'm looking forward to his customer service. In fact, I just sent him an e-mail with a couple general questions.
Trust me Stirling is no question an honest, legit, caring company that works VERY HARD at making customers happy! I've seen this first hand. Your dealing with human beings that really want you happy and to do a good job!
I realize this is a revived thread, so I only read the title and the recent posts. All I can say is this: With the literal dozens of full sized Stirling products in my den, and the countless samples I have tried, I have pretty much used every shave soap, and so many of AS's, that it would take me six months to review them all. I will just use that last, horrible run on sentence as my endorsement. I don't want to type that much, and guaranteed none of you want to read that much from me.
This comes from someone who just signed on with Stirling. I have yet to make an order, but I'm most interested in the ones you've tried. If you're anxious about another, see what you think of Coniferous.
Recently got almond creme, Pharoahs Dreamsicle, and island man. Love all 3. All have the great stirling slickness and lather like crazy. Wanted to find a replacement for cella and almond creme is far better in my opinion. Very strong almond scent.
I will soon be getting the Barbershop Aftershave, and perhaps the same scent soap, too(I'm not a shave soap person, but willing to give it a go on the Stirlings).
As far as aftershave go, order samplers first. I have found that sometimes the aftershave don't smell exactly like the soaps.
I have it on my list to at least pick up a sample with my next order. I think it is one where I probably passed on it because of the name. I like bright and citrusy, but send to shy away from sweet. All the talk has made me look again.
I really don't get much cocoa from it. I get the smell of moist earth after a fresh rainfall. It smells earthy to me, which i like.
