Woke up to a few inches of snow today so decided to freeze my face off with this glacial wintergreen. It lathered beautifully and was super cold.
Despite the awesome lather, I had quite a terrible shave. Think I need more practice with the Clog Pruf. May also need to try shimming an SE blade.
Today's shave ended in multiple weepers and a bunch of irritation. First bad shave in a while, good day everyone and I hope your shaves were/are better than mine was

    Jayaruh #51 synthetic
    The Bunny V3
    Schick Injector
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Speick After Shave

All went well today. I continued with the MILD comb. I decided that when shaving under the nose, I will come at it from the side like I do with GEM razors. No issues today, just a great shave. Maybe I will break out the NOTSO tomorrow.

The Speick Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #51 synthetic brush. Two passes with The Bunny V3 injector razor and a Schick Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Guys, there's been a change of plans for me because I came down with the Stirling Fever!

    For Sunday morning:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Razorock Plissoft 26 mm Monster :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
    Junjie/Astra day 7
Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Lucky Tiger AS Cream :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Folsom & Company Black Powder AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

I guess the OSP soap will have to wait for a couple of days - it's an awesome soap but just about all week I've been hooked on Rod's jewels and I just cannot break loose from them. The other two items - the Lucky Tiger a/s cream and the Black Powder aftershave splash are part of my selection, so just my choice of soap will be different! ;) :D

    Happy Easter Sunday! :)

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160326_181626.jpg

    Prep: Occams crushed lime
    Razor: Gillette Tech/ unknown handle
Blade: Shick 2002 twin DE (1st use)
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
    Soap: Local Gent Lime Street
    Post: Country Club Southern Oud

2 pass shave today. Went wonderfully, conditions were as perfect as could be, despite the circumstances. Several things from today's shave are from the travel box, so first time around. The handle on the Tech felt perfect. The soap doesn't get much mention around here, but it made a great lather. The blades are super smooth, and are a bit strange since it is a twin DE blade, but wonderful just the same. Finished off with Southern Oud which is a nice sweet scent. Hope everyone had a great shave!

In Shower Prep- Noxzema for face, Old Spice Classic shower gel
    Pso-Homemade mint oil
    Brush- RazoRock Plissoft
    Razor-Gillette Slim on 6
    Blade- Astra SP (4)
    Soap- VDH Luxury
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    AS- Old Spice Classic

I turned the Slim up to 6 today, an even better shave than yesterday. I really like this VDH soap, great scent and performance yet it costs almost nothing. The Astra is still going strong, the RazoRock Plissoft is fantastic, the Noxzema is great prep, very refreshing. The Thayers cooled everything off and I finished with the Old Spice, very little sting and no irritation today. Three passes, right to left, left to right then up and I'm BBS again. A great shave and the wife approves of the AS so all is good. Have a great day folks and a Happy Easter!

This Treet was an unexpected PIF from @Billyfergie that I almost passed up. I always thought those fat handles were ugly. What a mistake that would have been. I just finished shaving with it tonight and was really impressed. It is one of the smoothest razors I have and the handle is the most comfortable of any of my razors. It really makes it easy to be very precise in placing and moving the blade. :happy088:

I found I could move quickly with the Treet with no problems and made short work of my two day old whiskers. The reduction after the first two passes was solid but not exceptional. The Treet is somewhat mild but the end result was nothing but face rubbing goodness. This one is a keeper for sure. :happy036:
