"A couple" clearly means "less than 50." ;)

Speaking of Old Spice, I figured I would pick up some AS since it's the wife's favorite, it doesn't hurt that I like it as well

Picked up some cartridge handles for $5 - two Sensor ones and the one that I really wanted: a Schick Slim Twin.
I've got a pack of cartridges on its way as well so I can try it out next week :)

The adjustment lever on the back of the Slim Twin that adjusts....something :)

It's a lockdown. You can switch between locked (Trac II) and pivot (Atra) modes. Ah, the SlimTwin, I remember it well. The dark red handle is especially handsome, glad you came by one.

I havent shaved with it yet. I want to see the scent when its lathered. So far i really like it. it reminds me of some of old fashioned orange candies.

I think you would like it.

Lol it's funny... A lot of people came to this forum ( and others) to read up on how to get into DE, SE, or straights and get away from carts.. And here is dark bulb buying up all the cart handles he can find!! Lmfao..

I was at Big Lots today and more and more SuperMax razors show up there (been watching for their DE but so far, not). Saw this one in silver. It appeared to be another one of theirs that may be Sensor compatible. No, didn't buy it, but thought it'd be something Bulb would dig.

Incidentally, these sound interesting. Probably not sold in the U.S.

I was watching that auction. Congrats.

If I have not busted the budget lately, I would have been more keen on them.

    My haul this month.

The late 40's Super Speed is a very mild easy shaving razor. The black Slim is a 1974 birth year razor to match the black handle 74 Super Speed I bought last year.
The razor heads are the three Maggard collection. I haven't shaved with the V3 head (far right) yet. The V3A (middle) is fantastic. The V2OC is pretty aggressive but I had some initial issues with it when it arrived.

This is the condition it arrived in.

I sent them these pictures and explained that I might be able to scrape out the excess metal in between the comb teeth. Both sides had this problem but I only took pictures of the worst side from different angles. They responded very quickly but only offered to replace the top cap. I was a little disappointing that they wouldn't consider replacing the whole head unit since both pieces obviously had issues. I was able to get most of the metal out with a knife and I received a perfect top cap in the mail a few days later. I don't think I can fault the quality of Maggard though since this head has India stamped on it where the other 2 heads do not. The V3 and V3A heads both appear to be of better quality material and machining than the V2OC.
Despite this bobble, the V3A is such a great head that I'm happy.

+1 The V3A is indeed a pleasure to shave with and shaves close but comfortable. :happy088:

It's his final frontier. The last place unexplored. (Also where the cheapest bargains are to be found).
I'm surprised @Darkbulb let that one slip through his fingers. He's one of the few who collect that style of brush.
