Today's was delectable... 2.5 coffee scoops of those locally-roasted beans, ground just before brewing in a French Press.
Mixed it up today, literally: one scoop Peet's House Blend ( ) with one scoop locally-roasted Sumatra Mandheling (sp?). French Press.
On my front porch yesterday, a box containing an early birthday gift from my big sister… a 3lb whole bean variety pack from Peet's!

A mixture of (mostly) fresh-ground "scraps" / left overs from other bags in a French press. It was bitter as heck until I added a little sea salt. Then, it was at least drinkable.
21 grams Harrar via tabletopVacuum Pot. This morning I tried a metal filter instead of the cloth filter than comes with vac pot and the cup of joe was smoother this morning but did have some fine coffee grounds in the pot. Will have to adjust the grind a bit.
Purchased a grinder yesterday to complete espresso package. Ascaso I-steel model with 54mm flat burr grinder.
