I do know it's an Type L :). I have never seen a white one, and my track record of determining colour has been quite poor :( ...

Looks white to me as well. If I am not mistaken @Darkbulb has one of these as well and perhaps he can weigh in.

All went well today. I continued with the MILD comb. I decided that when shaving under the nose, I will come at it from the side like I do with GEM razors. No issues today, just a great shave. Maybe I will break out the NOTSO tomorrow.

A G2 would be 14 carat gold filled (heavier coating than plating.) However, I don't see parallel grooves on the guard bar which a Type G would have. By any chance is this a Canadian Schick? Or am I just not seeing the grooves (in which case it looks to be a G1.) :signs002:

Do I see tabs on the spring? I'm thinking this an E type.

That may be an optical illusion. We need a side view.

No parallel grooves and yes Canadian E2 . I don't have any G's. Mia culpa.

I have what I believe is a G1. The handle is plastic with a seam, the guard has parallel grooves, the spring has no tabs but here is where it gets fuzzy. It is marked "Schick Injector as opposed to " Eversharp Schick Injector" Any thoughts on this?

It is an early G 1. @Billyfergie has posted about this before. I am not sure where though.

It would be in his book that he needs to write.

Something along the lines of it being a result of the takeover of Schick by Eversharp and part of the deal being Schick carried on with the name for a period of time afterwards. @Billyfergie has said it was not something Eversharp liked so I'm guessing it must have been something needed to the deal done. Hopefully he will be along soon to set this right if my memory has mangled anything.

    The Bunny Comb Change

I have shaved with The Bunny three times using the MILD comb. I decided that I should at least give the NOTSO comb a try. Changing out combs is a no-brainer. You simply unscrew the thumb screw, and the comb comes off easily.

After removing the comb, I noticed that there was some residue build up on the handle, so I got out my just-for-razors toothbrush. It cleaned up easily with a little water and gentle brushing.

Here it is with the residue all gone.

I put the NOTSO comb on and put the screw back in. It is ready for a new shave. That will come in the morning. I must remember to go slow and be cautious.

Now it is ready to shave. I made this razor stand for The Bunny. The original stand did not make the trip, but it will be coming later this week and will be reunited with The Bunny.

Lest anyone wonder if Poppi or Redfisher failed to send on the stand I am the culprit. I guess subconsciously I just couldn't fully let go of the Bunny when it was time.
