@Robyflexx, congrats on the new razors! IMHO no de will get you a closer, smoother shave than a se. But I caution you; once you think you have that injector mastered, he'll jump up and bite you:)

Thank you @Spyder I'm hoping to try the Gem this week when some generously PIFED blades arrive from Mike aka @Redfisher. I had my first shave today with an injector. Review HERE :)

Mystical (LazyLens 20160329 073409 HD).jpg Second shave with the GEM push button. Definitely a kinder, gentler se. Not as aggressive or as apt to bite as my injector, but very efficient and smooth. I give it a definite"thumbs up" :)

That Bunny is a fine razor in its own right, if I was a selfish man I would have kept it and Jim would still be thinking about it!:eatdrink013:

I just had my first push button shave this morning. It is definitely a more mild SE. Which I'm glad about because I need to hone in my SE technique real bad.

Same experience as you. I tried a number of different blades in the PAL IM and nothing topped the plain old Schick. I suspect the same is true of the Bunny. :happy088:

    Two-day growth. Two-pass shave - XTG, ATG

Both razors have been providing great shaves for me this month. So similar, that I’m having difficulty discerning a great deal of difference between them.

So today I decided to do a same-shave face off with them - a different razor on opposite face sides during the same shave! I used a “Dog-danglies Dutch” blade in each with this being the 4th shave on each blade.

Wow! Maybe it was the competition that caused me to really focus on technique, but I think I got the best shave of the month today - and - it was similar quality on both sides. Smooth as your baby and almost clean on my trouble spots including my chin.

Could it be that the razors are that similar? Or am I just too much of a Newbie Numpty and incapable of discerning the finer attributes? :whacky024:

    Cheers!
