    Don't bother, it is like trying to lather an old bar of Ivory. Smells about the same. I figured I could at least shower with it... This lasted 1 day. The wife asked WTF and that was the end of that!

    Out here cvs carries van der Hagen. I've notice that some people have picked up a variety of different shaving hardware and software from the same chains we have. I think its regional. Some pick up wilkinson products at Walmart yet out here all they carry is van der Hagen. It seems van der Hagen has this region cornered.

    An ivory bar? Your too generous!!! It's like trying to lather a rock!!! Well at least it use to be for me. I can get a good lather out of it if I soak it in hot water and load the hell out of it for 2-3 minutes now. Also makes an ok shower/hand soap for me. YMMV though :)

    If I want VDH I have to go to Target or Walmart out here....that reminds me I need to stock up on VDH as well....

    VDH is OK but a tub of anything by Razorock is around $10 and will run circles around this. YMMV an all that!

    My next soap purchase will be either stirling or razor Rock. I'm waiting to use up one of my soaps first. I'm close to finishing my proraso and trader joes soap ..
