As much as I'd like to say it was my cleaning job I believe it's the quality of the brass used at the time.

Ya, you would think but I see these often mostly in butterscotch. Will sell one and give one to son. Have not decided which one to sell.

The more you use it, the lighter your touch will become.....I thought I needed a day or two break whenever I used it....But now, I consider it effortless and irritation free...And I could easily use it every day now....But such decadence.....Do I need to spoil my wife with such a closely shaven husband everyday?....:happy108:

Decisions, Decisions......hmmmm, I think would have to end up rotating those....

Have been DE all week. Last two days have been the new Fatip grande. Tomorrow will be a Sunday injector shave. Was tempted to load up a superspeed with a fresh blade, but the navy handle injector has had the same blade for too long. Need to rectify that, and thinking a nice close mild shave is in order.

    Go Heels!

Rotating injectors sure but rotating 3 E2's :happy036:
May trade for another injector. Red needs a Brit PAL or Hydro-magic.

That too....you're right aswell.....Hey, I just got maybe the Best Shave of My Life with a PAL Injecto-matic, so you will get no arguement from me...lol....and don't forget the formidable H type.....and he might want to become eligible to join the SSROC too while he's at it....}8^))

Man, it's really not that easy to make a short list of "must haves" when it comes to Injectors and SE razors...

On the other hand.....if I only had my early Schick E2 for the rest of my days....I would feel very lucky......and blades of course...:happy097:

Just picked up a FirmBlade. From the patent info it is a Birth year patent, 1953. Anyone with blades for this?

Are you sure that is not a potato peeler?:D But seriously, Does it look like it can take an injector blade? The curve on the head makes me think it is for under your arms?

Wow! Whoever invented this was a 'no nonsense' serious whisker hater!
Maybe that long handle is for leg shaving....You know.....Maybe this was some kind of early frontier Alaskan, Cossack, or Siberian Ladies Fashion Razor.....for the discerning lady with barb-wire whisker growth...:shocked003:
    Billy......could we have an illustration?

Just had a wonderful Saturday night shave . Used a Gem Damaskeene razor, new old stock Made Rite pure badger brush, Taylor of Old Bond Street grapefruit shaving cream, OSMA alum block , Genuine Ogallala Bay Rum Lime and Peppercorn aftershave . I use 1912 Gem and Ever-Ready razors quite regular but this is the first time using the Damaskeene . Very smooth and irritation free shave. Having trouble uploading a photo with my phone I'll try to figure it out and post a photo tomorrow.
