youngunn Where's my TSD aftershave balm???

    Sunday morning shave

    Gillette Red Tip
    Personna Platinum Red
    RazoRock Monster
    B&M Rhapsody SS
    B&M Rhapsody AS

Great shave with B&M products....... Just top notch. None better right now, but CRSW is so close. Israeli red with red tip a new combo and worked extremely well. Definitely a memorable shave.

Decided to ditch the Barbasol yellow and the Personna red today, and give the Merkur blades and the Proraso another shot. I do like the sandalwood scent of the Proraso, but it's not as slick and moist as the Barbasol and, while Merkur makes great razors, their blades don't really stack up. So, BBS, but with three nicks so, overall, not a great shave. 20160403105632-405.jpg

Thank you. I have no clue about flowers, etc. I'm on a work trip in Hawaii. This was my view this morning at breakfast.

First Shave of my April GEM pushbutton focus 4-3-16
    [IMG]
First shave with my new Omega brush (which is massive!!!) Lather was TSDshop London For Men Type. Finished it off with some clubman. The end result was an okay shave. Not the closest but take off quite a bit. And the razor bit me a couple of times when I lost the low angle. One thing about this razor though is it's effectiveness on the neck. I had a better shave on my neck than on my face which is a first for me. I am also finding it difficult to shave the jawline with this razor. May have to experiment with some skin pulling. Let's hope my shaves get better as my focus continues.

:thanks: The angle on your photo is outstanding and so is the color filter you went with. Very creative.

Just put the camera as close to the surface as possible lol. And figured I don't do black and white too often and decided to change things up

    Sunday:
hot shower w/Yardley Vanilla Sugar Cream bar soap
    Maggard Cherry Sandalwood Vanilla PSO
Gillette Fat Handle Tech 2+ passes
    Diplomat Platinum Plus (1)
    TSD Bourbon Vanilla soap
    StrongSet boar
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    TSD Bourbon Vanilla A/S Milk

Very average shave. First time with the Diplomat Platinum Plus and I didn't get a very close shave even considering how mild of a razor I was using. I'll give it a try in a more aggressive razor and see what happens.
Have a great week fellow shavers!

    Shave Den Sunday

    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: GEM Blue Star
    Razor: GEM Featherweight
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Lather: TSD Almond (sample)
Post: Witch hazel splash, Florida Water, TSD Aftershave Milk (unscented)
    WTG, WTG, touch-up

    Cold water 3.gif

Thanks to @Robyflexx for a new cold water shaving badge! I'll continue to rotate through the others that @Jayaruh has made too!

First shave with the GEM Featherweight. Holy cannoli!! That was quite an experience. Honestly the razor was a little intimidating. I was really scared to maim myself, but I persevered. I went WTG on two passes because I didn't feel confident enough for a XTG pass. But the two WTG passes and touch-up led to a pretty close shave. The angle was not too hard to find or maintain. The audible feedback is incredible - really loud! I am really impressed with the GEM.

The TSD Almond soap was fantastic! Loads of thick, yogurty lather. You can never go wrong with TSD soaps.

This was my first use of the TSD aftershave milk as well. Interesting stuff! More liquidy than my normal Nivea balm. I'll see what my face feels like in a little while and if it feels dry to get a real read on it. Seems to be good stuff though.

Hope you all have had a great weekend!
