I have never been a fan of fasting. My best results came from hypertrophy weight training, HIT cardiovascular training, and eating 8 clean meals everyday (whole foods and supplements).

This week's report: 165.8 lbs at 17.9% which means I put on a wee bit of fat (0.14 lbs) and a tad of muscle (0.65 lbs) compared to last week.

A little late with this week's report, but no changes over last time. :)

I forgot to post my update for this past week. As of Sunday morning, pre-Paschal Festivities (so I'm likely heavier now)...

163.2 lbs at 17.3 %body fat. The numbers still indicate that over 60% of my weight loss is fat.

Also this week, I tried "fatty" coffee with ghee (basically clarified butter which is lactose free) and it's not bad. The ghee gives a slightly nutty/grassy taste, but I prefer adding the coconut oil. The flavor is much less noticeable and the drink seems less oily compared to using ghee.

Thanks! I'm working on it. I must say this is the easiest (and best results-giving) diet I've ever been on. And with very little (if any) loss of strength at the gym.

As long as you eat sufficient protein, you're good to go at the gym. Nice work!

A friend of mine tried it, and it made no noticeable difference. What I found to work was to eat lean red meat, drink plenty of nonfat milk and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Eliminate all sugar, and also as much fat as possible, and minimize starch consumption. I rapidly gained strength using that diet.

    I went up a little this week: 164.2 @ 17.6 %. No biggie tho.

I'm on a cooks diet of caffiene and bitterness. I wake up at 5am and I'm at work and cooking from 6am to 2 pm. I taste at least a bite of everything I cook and I eat a late lunch at 2:30pm and a supper around 6:30pm. I've always eaten in about this fashion. I'm heavier now but not more than 5 or 10 pounds more then I should. Now that I'm working again I should slim down 15 or 20 pounds in the next month or 2.
