    Razor: Bullgoose sr108
Blade: Kroger branded Israel Reds (I think)
    Brush: JR13
    Lather: Palmolive menthol cream
Decided to take a break from the SE focus today and make sure I maintain DE technique. I found these blades at my local city market and picked them up. I am pleasantly surprised, they were sharp and pretty dang smooth. The JR13 brush made a quick and easy lather with the Palmolive cream. Such a clean scent, love it. 3 pass shave today WTG, XTG, ATG gave me an extra smooth BBS. One of the closest I have had recently. Even the chin is as smooth as glass. Have a great day everyone and great shaves all around!

I'm glad those blades worked out well for you, I picked up a pack locally as well! What knot is in the JR13? Looks sharp!

Razor - 1959 Gillette Super Speed
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
    Soap - Arko
Post - Cold water rinse, Alum, The Veg

Running a bit early today so I'll go ahead and post up. Day three for the Sharp Star and I have absolutely no issues with this blade. BoS for the lather today and it did a fine job, though I think I prefer the Silvertip from yesterday. Nothing wrong with it today just didn't seem as rich perhaps? Anyway, two passes today, smooth as silk, still great audible feedback. I had a few touchups at the end and called a DFS and decided that was enough. Now that I've had 15 minutes or so to chill and recheck it I'm calling the baby, baby. That's two out of three for this blade as well as for the Platinum Lux. Tough choice between these two and how to place them for the month. And, tough competition for the rest of the Rapira pack. Tomorrow is the Rapira Super Stainless (pink/black/blue) which I have only used once before and way early last year. It is the Rapira I've used the least so it should be fun. And interesting.

It's raining in the Lou today and the boys are also reporting rain and a huge thaw on their way home. Said something about alternate transportation through the Russian mud. Not sure what they meant or even if it's a good idea.

    Razor - Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade - GSB (2)
    Brush - Omega 10049
    Soap - Stirling Green
Post Shave - Thayer's Cucumber WH, Barbasol Brisk, Nivea Sensitive ASB

I was watching PaulH on Youtube this morning shaving with a Wilkinson Sword Classic. I reached in the back of the cabinet and pulled out mine. First shave with it in ages. I bought it for traveling...produces a great shave though. I used up my sample puck of Stirling Green...lasted about 11 shaves. It will be on my reorder list for the future.

It's always a cold shave month for me :D I've been doing cold water shaves for quite some time now.In the summer I'll bring some ice cubes into the den and do a ice cube rub with my rinses.

Sorry guys, had some medical problems this morn. Nothing serious but has interrupted my schedule, caused a really bad shave on top of everything else. Will try to make up for it later. thanks for understanding, best wishes.

Many thanks! I'm really enjoying the Mongoose. For a razor I'd call mid-aggressive I've yet to get any razor burn or irritation. The weight gets a bit of getting used to,it's a hefty one for sure, but the results are stellar!
