  1. Yes. The soap and aftershave are a very very good match, I'll be using the Fine American Blend Soap and Aftershave for tomorrow's shave.

    TESC Pre-Shave Oil
    Speick Shave Cream
    Jayaruh #56 synthetic
    Gillette Goodwill LC
    Personna Super
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Speick After Shave

The Speick Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #56 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Goodwill LC razor with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  4. I don't have anything AGAINST using them, but I need to take Shave Brush 101 first. Or read that well-written report in the "The Brush" section.

  8. Get brush wet, lightly shake excess water out of a brush, in a circular motion move the brush over the puck, soap, croap for 15-20 seconds. Wet face with water. In circular motion rub soap on face with brush. That's pretty much it.
  9. Great setup, love the cologne choice. :)

    Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
    Razor: Maggard MR 18c
    Blade: Rockwell (2nd shave)
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetc
Soap: Dapper dragon- Frankincense & myrrh
Post: Osage Rub/ DIY citrus patchouli Balm

2 pass shave today. Decided to go with Dapper Dragon which is a very nice soap, and I like the scent which is a plus. 2ND day with the Rockwell, still moving along, but not a favorite Blade by any means. Finished the shave with Osage Rub and homemade balm, the balm turned out to be nice and protective and easy to make. Hope everyone had a great shave!
