Yes. The soap and aftershave are a very very good match, I'll be using the Fine American Blend Soap and Aftershave for tomorrow's shave.

Why not use a brush? You could get the one I'm using today for $15

    TESC Pre-Shave Oil
    Speick Shave Cream
    Jayaruh #56 synthetic
    Gillette Goodwill LC
    Personna Super
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Speick After Shave

The Speick Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #56 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Goodwill LC razor with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I don't have anything AGAINST using them, but I need to take Shave Brush 101 first. Or read that well-written report in the "The Brush" section.

Has Chris Bailey done a review of the soap yet, on Youtube or wherever else?

Get brush wet, lightly shake excess water out of a brush, in a circular motion move the brush over the puck, soap, croap for 15-20 seconds. Wet face with water. In circular motion rub soap on face with brush. That's pretty much it.

    Llyr Stay frosty, my friends!

Many thanks Roby,I always try to match up whenever I can.Plus with the cooler weather I can get away with scents that I wouldn't normally use for Springtime.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160407_195847.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
    Razor: Maggard MR 18c
    Blade: Rockwell (2nd shave)
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetc
Soap: Dapper dragon- Frankincense & myrrh
Post: Osage Rub/ DIY citrus patchouli Balm

2 pass shave today. Decided to go with Dapper Dragon which is a very nice soap, and I like the scent which is a plus. 2ND day with the Rockwell, still moving along, but not a favorite Blade by any means. Finished the shave with Osage Rub and homemade balm, the balm turned out to be nice and protective and easy to make. Hope everyone had a great shave!
