    I've got these :

Gillette 1947 Aristocrat in with case
    Gillette 1937 Sheraton with case
Gillette 1938 Senator open comb razor in case

The stand out one for me is the 47 Aristocrat. The added weight and knurling give it the edge for me.

As promised, better pictures. There was one spot where the lacquer didn't cover, shown in the close up. This razor is really in remarkable shape. I'm going to be sorry to see it go. Just not a fan of gold razors.

Edit: Just for comparison, here is one of the original seller's pictures. Natural lighting is such a crucial part of capturing a razor's true beauty.

Yep. Just waiting for @Herm2502 to get back with me on my trade offer. My razor, case and blades for his rhodium plated one. If he turns it down, TSD members will get first crack at it, and then it will go back on eBay.

My wedding is costing about $5,000, so to ease the strain of saving up that much, I figured I would clear out most of my collection. I will probably post my sale thread tomorrow afternoon.

This was my shave today. I haven't used this razor since October and I've forgotten just how smooth and close it shaves. The craftsmanship is amazing and I just dig holding it in my hand. One of the best IMO.

I think we'd all rather have his razor. @Redfisher you should shave with it more often than once every five months. Is a Blackbird the reason?

Well @PLANofMAN talked about a trade. In being honest, while my rhodium plated '37 looks and shaves great it does have a mechanical flaw with one of the rivets holding one of the doors. If tightened too far it tends to "pop". I think he's gonna look for another option and I get to keep my razor. I was torn anyway, his razor looks awesome! Good luck @PLANofMAN!

You are in luck. Basically any aristocrat made between 1940-1950 shares the same style knurling that is used on the Fatboy.

The Aristocrat returned in 1961-67 as a gold plated Slim Adjustable.

That are not adjustable, though. The '48-'50 models are milder than their predecessors.

If you want adjustable, you'll need to get a '61-'67 Aristocrat, which were gold plated Slim Adjustables.

Mild. Super speed equivalent, but will feel more aggressive due to the weight of the razor.
The '46-'47 were the most aggressive American Aristocrats. Slightly under a red tip, though the added weight of the razor will make it feel more aggressive than a red tip.
