That's good. There are a lot of artisans in the US, but it seems like there are less over seas, which is a sad thing. I always like to see a new soap makers.

    Prep:
    Hot shower, Nivea face wash
    Brush: Omega #5575 Boar
    Lather: Speick stick
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Q-Ball Platinum (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (1, 2, 3)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Thayer's Witch Hazel pad, Speick AS splash
    Cologne: Xeryus by Givenchy

I had a presentation to give today, so I reached for the Speick and the darling of my latest blade-testing round, the Q-Ball Platinum. The lather was more than adequate and the blade feels smooth enough to make a body doublecheck that it's loaded in the razor. 3 passes produced DFS+ results.

It was marketed as a lady's razor but it shaves like nobody's business. It uses a standard injector blade. I prefer the Personna in it to amp it up just a tad. :happy088:

WOW, that's all I have to say. Amazing first shave with the Sputnik. Very sharp and smooth. It was one of those shaves where you hear the blade cutting but couldn't feel it at all. The blade was so smooth, I chased the baby and caught it! No irritation and DAMN! My face feels great! Have a great day everyone!

For Sunday it won't be frigid, but still quite chilly!

    Here's my setup:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Razorock Plissoft 26 mm Monster :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
    Super Speed/Astra day 7
    Proraso Green SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Folsom & Company Black Powder AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

I think this will be my first non-Stirling shave in about a week, or even a week and a half. The Proraso Green soap is not a face-freezer but it still contains more than enough menthol to satisfy me. The Gold Bond moisturizer is even a little colder, and the Black Powder aftershave goes on really cold with a gorgeous, long-lasting scent! (Yes, back to my Super Speed for a few days!) ;) :D
