You're kidding, right? I saw every team in the NBA live this year, and can assure you that no team (not even CLE or SAS) are on GSW level. Kerr (and his staff) have redefined greatness for this generation. Every possession terminates in a dunk or a screened off three point shot, and the defense is intelligent and plays the passing lanes up top to maximum effect to generate transition paint buckets. It's true excellence.

And to keep it relevant, Kerr always has a great shave and a sharp haircut. Bogut needs help, and Curry would look scarier if faded his hair tightly but kept the goatee longer.

So it is with great sadness that I must bow out of my focus with straights and shaving as a whole for 2-3 weeks (2-3 weeks is not ok...may just grab my DE with the left hand and try my luck at that if I can) until my right hand heals back up. At work today while cleaning the flattop the was an incident where some hot oil was kicked back landing on top of my right hand, wrist, and lower arm resulting in 1st, and 2nd degree burns which took quite a few layers of skin off. A few hours in the ER and I have my right hand gauzed and wrapped up and they gave me some happy meds for the pain. I don't know what's going to suck more being out of work for a week or two or not shaving. Figured I would let you guys know in case anyone noticed the lack of posts in this thread.

OUCH!! Sorry to hear about that. It's time for a new focus.....on getting that hand healed up....and for more than shaving! My thoughts are with you and I hope you'll stay around and follow along. You may not be able to post but you can always read. Here's to quick and complete healing!

Thanks! I will still follow and read along. SWMBO said I should just use a cart until I get healed up. :angry032: Not a chance. Going to call work to see if I can at least come in to expedite.. I go crazy just having 2 days off.. My sous chefs and line cooks are probably happy I wont be there...now they can goof off without getting torn a new one.

Just realized how hard it is to type with one hand...this is going to be a long few weeks.

    30 Day Focus April 12, 2016

Now that I have finished my tub of TOBS, I am shifting my focus to Cella...that wonderful, sweet scented soap of Italy. This morning I started the day with my Semogue brush and an Astra SP loaded in the Gillette Heavy Tech. I can't think of a better way to start a Tuesday morning. I am looking forward to the weeks ahead! :happy093:

Excellent 2 pass shave this morning with the AlumiGoose. After minor touch ups, the shave ended in a near BBS. I am really enjoying the Tike Carbernet Neroli since it lathers easily and the red wine citrus scent is really nice. Finished with a splash of F&C Shambala. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Nice shave this morning with Ginger's Garden Salty Mariner scent. Fresh, clean, ocean breeze fragrance. It provides good cushion and slickness as well as good post-shave care due to all the hydrating ingredients. It's a great soap!

Break in focus from Russian blades today in order to continue use of the vintage Wilkinson Sword blade made available by @DaltonGang. Smooth, sharp blade. No nicks or weepers today and no irritated spots.

One big pass with touch-up and it's time to get the day started. Hope yours is a good one!

A one pass with some touch up for a DFS this morning. I can feel that this razor may need a little touch up on the pasted balsa board, but it still did it's job well. The Fine Platinum got me moving for my Tuesday. Hope everyone has a great day.

Oh goodness Ray. I'm so sorry that happened, the best thing is to take care of hand, wrist, and lower arm. I'll keep you in my prayers and send positive thoughts your way. In the meantime enjoy your pain medication. ;)

Chris, I totally believe the Dubs will repeat, but I don't want to get ahead of the game.
The San Jose Sharks are in the playoffs again (NHL) ;) I believe 100% they will not win the Stanley Cup!
Curry is doing things that we've never seen before, fans are coming to the arena 1-1/2 hour early to watch him in his pre-game warmup. It's a show within the show.

    Prep: Hot Shower. Noxzema
    Razor: Gillette British Rocket
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Lather: Route 66 Cavendish
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft
    Post: Thayers Rose Petal WH.
Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shady Past. Route 66 Cavendish
The Rocket is one of those razors that unless you try one you'll never understand how awesome it is. The GSB blade is okay, sharp and smooth. Route 66 Cavendish is FANTASTIC! Here's what I could smell, cedar, fir, and a nice tobacco all mixed together with love. The soap popped when I was lathering it, the scents jumped out. Beautiful. The Cavendish balm left my face silky smooth, I absolutely love this product.
