Nice shave with the Schick. No idea how many shaves on this blade but it still feels good.

 

Good to know, Bill. I have been born and raised in West TN all my life. There are a few foods here that we just assume other parts of the country don't eat. I know many regions have foods like that. Fried jowl is awesome. We eat it on New Year's Day here with our black eye peas, turnip greens and cabbage. One of my favorite meals.

Got my package in from Rod at Stirling this morning. Used the Tea Tree soap and ASB for my morning shave. Seems like the Tea Tree Balm is a thicker consistency than my other Stirling balms. Great stuff though. The medicinal smell doesn't last long. Great face feel as always. They included a sample bath soap of Gatlinburg. Love that scent. It may be a future shaving soap order...wife loved it too.

Celebrating our 21st Anniversary today. Heading out to Mason, TN here in a few minutes for lunch at Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken (the original location). Enjoy your day ladies and gentlemen.

Another adventure with the Dubl Duck. Lathered up the TOBS with the badger. Spent extra time hydrating my beard, so I could try to get closer with the Duck. Started by going from my sideburn to my jaw line on my right side, and my left side with my left hand. That went so well I did my neck on my left side. Looking good, so left hand right hand going easy trying to figure out the best approach. Getting better and a little closer. Not pushing my luck I stopped there and finished with my FB, and only needed some cleanup. Still working all the angles, but getting better. Nice cucumber smell with the WH, and then some soothing JB Gel. After cleanup some vintage Old Spice original Shulton from 1973 . Y'all have a good one.
